So a dumb question for all you folks….

when do you pay the $165 GC fees? Only after you get the visa? Or can you pay it earlier? and if yes …where do we go pay it? Or do we wait to ge instructions in the packet that is sent by the consulate and they tell you in that?

Thanks in advance

Hello guys. Just to update our case. Been working a lot lately just to save up for my wife's arrival. My wife just got done with her medical 11/17-18/14. She passed the medical but boy! it was so nerve racking with all these stories my wife is telling me about sputum test delay of some of our friends here(if anybody here, I'm sorry) but glad we got that step done! 2 more step away! Salute to my wife going through that long wait process and having not enough sleep due to traveling and thinking about what will be the results. Just waiting for her interview day! Thank you for all the prayers and we are always praying for others too! Congrats to the people who passed their interviews and have their visas approved and in hand! Hi all! Case complete 11/14, now waiting for our interview to be scheduled in France. I'm posting in the December thread out of wishful thinking but have very little hope of a December interview.

Congrats to all of you for finally making it to this point.

Congratulations. Welcome to the Group. January Interviews should start probably Dec. 1st. because of the short week next week.

So you will be interviewing in France (I see Portugal folk interview there okay).

I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Awesome. Congratulations. Glad to hear easy interview news.

Dear Vj members i need help regarding change of address.

My petitioner changed her address in the US a couple of weeks ago from my interview. My interview is on Nov 26. Please advise do i have to update this address on DS-260 if yes how it can be unlocked. or i just go to the interview and inform the CO to update.

No biggie. At interview you wull tell CO and they will update. Also be sure you update address on the uscis.gov site. This address will be where your green card goes so you want it accurate.

Anytime after you receive Visa in hand and 1 year of POE. Not before

http://www.uscis.gov/uscis-elis

They will give you instructions when you pick up Visa.
