Obama has nothing to do with controlling oil prices, it's all big oil companies and opeg

Haven't you heard? Obama controls everything, from illegal immigration, Muslim terrorist cells and even spreading deadly disease.

Gas prices going down, and right before an election. What a coincidence. <_<

actually gas prices normally fall during the latter part of the year as the refinery switches over from summer blend to winter blend, which is cheaper to make due to less additives.

fracking has a little bit to do with it.

Obama's fracking policy yields big dividends while protecting the Enviroment.

This guy is amazing.

He has Putin over a barrel and he's fracking is sox off and rubbing his head for luck.

I don't think you can really say Obama is against fracking considering that it has really come into its own over the last six years.

Who is against opening oil and gas pipelines in AK?

Obama's fuel efficiency rules means we need less gas.

"That is largely due to increased efficiency in the nation’s auto fleet. New cars sold in the U.S. average about 36 miles per gallon, compared to the 31.5 miles per gallon new cars achieved in 2008. Federal standards on fuel efficiency will continue to ratchet up efficiency over the next decade, setting up the possibility for a decline in fuel demand even while the overall economy continues to grow."

Liberals for the most part. Something I don't agree with. That oil is coming one way or another. A pipeline is the most efficient and most environmentally friendly way to move it here. If we were a smart forward looking country, we would use that oil to power us to a new source. I don't think anyone doubts the ignorance of thinking oil is the energy of the future. Well at least the way it's being used now.
