Had my interview Monday at 8am in Chicago and he asked us the basic yes and no answer and how we met and if we have any pet. After that he had us sign a paper that we attended the interview and print out a paper that says a deciding can not be made and that it is going for further review. My lawyer ask him how long and he said two weeks. I had a domestic battery case in 2013 which was dismissed and I gave him the final court disposition papers. He asked if am still in removal proceedings and I said no. So he took my i94 I believe because it was in my passport we I hand it over to him and when I got home I couldn't find the i94 in the passport so am believing he took it. Any way, he did not write pending on my passport but gave me the papers and said we have provided enough document but if he needs something else he will mail it us. I have been married for almost 3yrs and I did not file until October of last year, so am assuming I should be getting a permanent green card instead of the temporary. Pls I am stressing about this and I would like to know what will happen.

I had my interview in Santa Ana, CA this morning and I was approved. The IO was courteous, professional and went out of her way to make my wife and I feel at ease. My interview was typical of other posters so I wont elaborate on the details. However, I do want to highlight one point. I entered the US on a student visa several years ago. The IO wanted proof that I attended school. I did not have any on me so I was given a couple of days to get it. I called my University as soon as I stepped out of USCIS and was fortunate enough for them to email me copies of an 'Enrollment Verification Letter' showing I started classes 2 weeks after I entered the US.

I double backed to USCIS with the letter and copies of my transcripts and was approved on the spot. I was given a letter welcoming me and received a text and email immediately after I left the building for the second time.

divorce papers. She asked for my wife's Philippine passport. She then wanted to see all the supporting evidence we brought.

She specifically asked to see bank statements. In addition, she wanted to see pictures. We gave her a handful to look through.

She asked my wife how we met and that was it. The entire process took less than 30 minutes. Green card was approved.

This is and has been a looong wait, don't know why the Miami office is so slow!! They are only on processing 24th of june applicants right now. This is gonna take forever.. Congrats to everyone who got approved lately though, hope i get there soon too and all of you others too!

Can't believe browsing on my phone and a text came in from USCIS about case update l, I hurry to check what it was and I found this on May 19, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC159xxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. I have been approve for a 10 years green card and I am so greatful to God made it possible for me even when I doubted that it will be possible because of my domestic battery charge which was dismissed because I was innocent. God always has a way he does things and he always do it at his own time and he has done this great thing for me and am so greatful. It took a month and 4days since my interview to approval. Hope everybody who are still waiting gets approve soon. Thanks
