Medicaid is a joint federal-state program that provides health coverage or nursing home coverage to certain categories of low-asset people, including children, pregnant women, parents of eligible children, people with disabilities and elderly needing nursing home care.

So can my husband enroll on it this week still? Will it not affect my AOS at all ? Is there anyway that he can enroll on it and not me even tho we are married?

My husband got the EAD card today yay! :dancing:

So relieved he can start working and help with the bills now. We are still waiting for an update on our 485, haven't heard anything since the biometrics on the 11th of November. Debating calling if we don't hear anything within the next week or two. But overall glad he can start helping out :)

Your husband does not qualify for Medicaid.

You can go to https://www.healthcare.gov/glossary/open-enrollment-period/ and check if there is a plan that cover your needs. The deadline is feb 15 to enroll.

You have to wait 75 to 90 days before you will receive your ead card, If not you can call after hitting 90 days, My aos is showing the same status and the I-485 application depends on your local office. Atlanta is processing May 11th 2014 application as of Oct 31st. also on the I-485 I have heard that the tracking is not reliable to some people as they have already got their greencard and still showing fingerprint fee recieved

Dear VJ friends,

Congrats on all those who already received their EAD.

Today I received an amazing job offer. Still waiting on the actual EAD card. It has been 76 days already.... and I have 18 days otherwise the job offer might will be gone. I already made a call and they will sent in a time frame, in other words this means that it is expedited right (that's what the agent on the phone told me)? Is there anything else I can do???? I really would love to get this some, it would be a great fit and it would move us forward.
