Thanks! :) Hope you get yours too. It's good that you'll be able to see your love. :)

Yes, hopefully you get your approval soon. At least you'll see each other in almost a month. That's something to look forward to. :)

Thank you!!!! And yea I'm getting excited would be so awesome if we go back together. This process is really hard for us, this is the only time we've been separated for so long :(

Hi! I can't say for sure but I am thinking that you might get your NOA2 this month-hopefully in a week or two. :) We got ours in 27 days. I think the average is 32-33 days-the last time I checked where you can see the complete list of timelines of those who were approved.

That's how I felt before getting our NOA2. It was really discouraging. I decided to have a VJ and case status fast. :)

Thanks A+J <3, I feel a sense of relief. Just wana share though we are a same sex couple and I hope that this doesn't affect the speed of our processing time.

It definitely should start with SRC, are you sure you're looking at the right receipt number?

Hi! Have you checked it again? Yes, it should start with SRC.

HI guys! Yeah, it's the receipt # written in NOA1 hardcopy.. Ours really starts with TSC.. we called customer service again, our docs got rerouted from Vermont to TSC, and Vermont issued us the NOA1 then they sent the docs back to TSC..maybe the reason why the receipt# is different.. They're gonna update the Receipt # and email/snail mail it to us though. Hoping we'll get it ASAP.. Can't wait to check our status online.

09/05/14: I-129F Sent via USPS Mail

09/18/14: Got a text that the Package was received at USCIS Lockbox

10/13/14: Packet received Date

10/22/14: NOA1 mail arrived but we got the one issued in VSC instead of TSC :( Had a different Receipt# that starts with TSC.

***Our docs got rerouted to TSC again..(According to their CSR) but we have no idea how it got sent to VSC.

11/03/14: I-129F approved at TSC

11/10/14: Notice Date

11/21/14: Received our NOA1 in the mail. (Updated one with the correct Receipt#)

04/21/15: NOA2 Notice Date

04/24/15: Got a computer generated text from USCIS (NOA2)

05/11/15: Received our NOA2 mail.

...................waiting for the NVC letter..

Looks like USCIS has updated their web interface. Same experience, no status update available-call customer service. They are probably in the process of relinking the databases. So, as i had decided/planned to do already, writing senators and congressmen. Also contacting members of the Immigration and Border security sub-committee. I don't plan on sitting around venting and wailing on Visa Journey about how long it takes, especially 5-8 months from now. I'm taking action. By the way, in my current career, i process background investigations. It does not require a whole lot of time~human intervention. The same databases and information I use, USCIS uses as well. The waiting period is unacceptable based on the technology and information we have available. On top of that, I have a very transparent and well documented pedigree due to my long military service and present day government contractor. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Good luck September filers.

My fiancé served at the US Army for 21 yrs. and we don't see why it's taking us this long to do his background check. We might do the same thing, it's just really unfair. Good luck to our journey.

Just think that after this, you will not be separated like that anymore. :)

I don't think it affects the speed of your processing time.

Don't go to the October filers thread and see people getting their NOA2. :(

:( Yeah, it seems faster for them even for some TSC filers. Maybe while waiting, prepare what you can-the documents you will need for the next steps so you will be ready when you get your NOA2. It will be very fast once you get your NOA2. I know it may seem like you are waiting for forever right now. I felt that way even if I was only waiting for less than a month. Once it's there, time will fly by so fast and you will forget(hopefully!) the agony of waiting because you will be busy and very excited to reunite with your love. :)

You're welcome. :) At least you know that they "touched" your petition. Did you answer it on the I-129F form? Yes, just wait for it. Once you respond to your RFE, the wait will not be that long anymore. :)

Hello September filers! We received our NOA2 11/12!! :luv:

42 days from NOA1

45 days from application date

We didn't expect that the response will be this soon and we were both so happy!!!!

We were both in shock that I had to refresh and log in thrice and made sure I'm entering the correct SRC number.

Contrary from what we heard from the recent K-1 filers about the cause of delay in decision, you can be sure that yours will be approved faster if you and your fiance completely organized the packet and included more than the required proof to justify that the beneficiary will not become a public charge once he/she enters the US and proof that the relationship is legit.

Now awaiting our case to be sent to NVC, then will be forwarded to Manila US embassy.

Keep praying and best of luck to ya'll! I'll keep you posted so you can have a good estimate of when you will receive yours :)

Hi everyone!

We started processing our K-1 Visa ourselves and didn't hire an immigration attorney. Below is our journey so far:

9/27 - sent I-129f to Dallas lockbox

9/29 - Dallas rcvd packet

10/2 - US fiance rcvd confirmation for NOA1

10/3 - changed ARN

10/4 - received NOA1 hard copy

So I guess based from the discussion in this forum, we are just waiting for NOA2 that my US fiance will receive in the mail?

Today marks our 31st day of our agonizing wait time. I wonder if any of you guys can tell the average wait time for us (those who filed Sept 2014) prior to receiving NOA2?

TIA and God bless to all! :)
