hi , I've been waiting soon 8 months. In my mind, I planned to be there in August but now I feel kind of sad. I can't even focus on something else. We receive the NO1 in September24tg.

I am thinking, is it okay if I move there with having the fiance visa and get married with a tourist visa. I dont care anymore. I would like to move.

This made me seriously laugh. The sad truth is in all likelihood they aren't doing anything with your file but letting it collect dust.

Is anyone else having trouble viewing their case status on the website? I tried to log into my account and the website says it's been locked due to either "account inactivity" or "too many unsuccessful login attempts".

that's a glitch ...since they made a new website ..it's always that problem and they can't even do anything for it ..that's what a lady told another member (CSC) as he called their.

_{At this point, I'm convinced that they have either a) lost my file or b) my case worker is some lazy slow-moving dink who is counting the days to his/her retirement and too busy refilling their coffee in the break room and playing Candy Crush on their phone. I can't wrap my head around a valid reason of why it would take my actual background check this long when me, my parents, fiancé, and his parents all have very boring backgrounds. Like, seriously - we are all fun and great people but as far as our backgrounds go? SNORE. Like, come on.}

Hitting 8 months in a week from now.

Even my fiancé, the person of unbelievable patience and understanding, is starting to lose his isht. He's contemplating inquiry but it's still pointless to do. Hoping they won't go two weeks ahead with the new update

If I look at my similar timelines, it pulls Canadian Aug - Nov filers from TSC and, honestly, most of them have been approved already - averaging at 200-ish days. Talk about feeling dejected.

Your fiancé is in the Pittsburgh area? Mine is from there. He lives in Raleigh, NC now but his family is still there and we are getting married in PA in October! (Hopefully, at this rate... who knows).

I absolutely love Canada. Me being from a country where the USA and Canada fall into the paradise-category (away from all the madness in Brazil. Brazilians will know what I'm talking about.), any one of those two countries, with whatever flaws they have, would be extraordinary places to live. Though Canada seems to blend its cultural beauty with nature in a way that's so charming.. I've never seen landscapes so beautiful. Oh and,

Northern fricking Lights.

Though to be fair, the US does have a lot of beautiful national parks and.. Alaska. <3

If the Canadians here don't mind me asking, what made you choose to go to the USA rather than have your fiance(e)s go to Canada? I have no idea if the process would've taken longer or not(or if it's even the same for that matter) but.. Heck, let's agree that they are both great places to live!

Hahaha! I'm actually the son of a K-couple, soon to get a K-2.

In my case, time truly is of the essence, I'm very close to "aging out" which would be disastrous. While it is frustrating, I hope these delays are only happening with K-visas, and not the AOS, or else dark days be comin'.
