I received my NOA1 by text & email on 9/26 but still have not received my hard copy. Should I contact someone or does it usually take some time to receive the hard copy? Thanks so much ?

From what I've seen on here it usually takes about a week or so..give it a few more days.

we still have not received it and it has been more than 1 month...not sure what to do really :(

its usually takes about a week for NOA1 hard copy to be delivered after you receive the text/email not a week after you mail the I-129f package in...you could also call your service center if you really want to for your peace of mind. :dancing:

For what it's worth, the hard copy is not needed for anything in the future....so not receiving it is no big deal. You've got the email.

I just realized it's only been a week ? Why does it seem so much longer?? I definitely want the hard copy though because my fiancé is planning a visit & I want to make sure he has that when he goes through customs. Thanks for the responses ?

The only thing that is important about the NOA1 is the receipt number. If you received electronic confirmation from USCIS with the receipt number, you are good to go. The official hardcopy does not convey any right or status, it is merely a receipt that they have your initial petition.

I actually received my hard copy in the mail later that day that I posted... I know some people think it is not "important"- but to me everything is important so I prefer to have the hard copy. If they had told me that my response would have been "well I would prefer for you to send my hard copy please and thank you".

Your timeline indicates you received NOA1 on 7/29/14. I'm confused did u mean NOA2?

Also your country shows the default country of Armenia. Your flag pic would indicate otherwise. You may want to correct that. It helps when your asking for information that is consulate specific.

Yes. We have received our Noa1 by email on July 29th. Since then we haven't received our Noa1 Hardcopy...

We called USCIS 2times and they said they will send us dupulicate but it never arrived. oh well... I am crossing my fingers for my Noa2 . hopefully we can get Noa2 Hard copy without any problems. ( it seems like noa2 hard copy is very important for my AOS in the states)

And somehow i can't choose Consulate of my country on this site...weird though...will keep trying to fix it.

Oh ok! ? gotcha. It makes me nervous to hear when people don't receive their mail from USCIS. What is the problem with that?!
