Can u share it with me plz? I didnt see it posted on this thread. Feel free to PM me. Gotta start getting in shape...especially with the holidays coming up soon. I've gained so much weight with all this immigration journey stress and of course life. The saddest part is that i literally got a bald spot on the right side of my head. ? so alll to say...need to start eating healthier, go on a diet, get active, and not stress ? how is that possible with NVC?! Sorry just had to vent but Im glad NVC seems to be getting better.

Good luck on ur interview Romi! Cant wait to be at that stage! ?

God willing! t4582.gif

Exactly totally random, so much for first come first served. I think it's on purpose. I would be easy to make the process more officiant but they just don't want it to be efficient. t4582.gif

God willing you and Samreen will be next :D What joy that will be. :) I hope they are speeding up not just being NVC. :Dt4582.gift4582.gif

Would it make a difference? t4582.gif

Hahaha must be an amazing feeling. :Dt4582.gif

I hope so! Samreen deserves it and next wk will be her week!! ?

With all the randomness of NVC scan dates I have a feeling NVC will get thru Sept quicker and go thru October for a quick CC for u Soloenta. On the other thread i saw sept scan date along with oct 6th scan date. ?? So there's hope my friend. God willing soon we will be reunited with our loved ones for sure in 2015!! Insha'llah

By the grace of God, CASE COMPLETE!!! as of this evening

Last scan date: AOS August 14th, IV Package: Sept 19th

Got a checklist on 10/21 to submit wife's original documents (birt certificate, marriage certificate) instead of copies (they were certified copies)

Instead of getting the original documents from overseas, I called multiple times until I spoke to a superviser. He asked some time to review the file.

It took about 1 week for him to receive the file.

And today it was reviewed by the same superviser and case completed. AOS status changed to N/A within 10 minutes of superviser confirming case complete.

Congratulations!!! For some reason, they always question marriage certificates from Pakistan. Had the same issue and supervisor resolved it. Alhumdulillah.

Well if organizing my huge closet according to cooler pattern and style of clothing is not considered OCD then it's under control :) lol

I can never understand how people become such organized :wow:

I literally have a huge pile I dig through to sort each month, but no use since it becomes a pile again a day or so later :ranting::rofl:

To be honest I just felt relieved for the waiting game..don't be surprised if you are not super thrilled like you expected to be months go ... I don't know if it's just me but this has been a rough journey ! I'm just glad it's about to be over .

Don't get me wrong I'm very thankful but not jumping around from joy like I imagined I would a year ago .

Oh believe me when I was told I had CC I was relieved but not thrilled, partly because of the very long wait and the errors that happen with this process but because I'm scared of AP which most everyone in Egypt gets unless your Christian. So I do understand completely. :)t5063.gif

Soloenta, are you going to start the diet that alepenaflor sent?

I am starting it tomorrow :dancing: since I try to be as much of a vegetarian as I can be ( don't tell this to my mom, or else she'll start forcing me to eat meat :bonk:) I will be replacing the meat dishes with either eggplant or squash.

I guess my main problem is that I never know what to eat so I just eat without thinking. Well gotta get in the groove to get back into shape.:dancing:

To be honest no, fruit and veggies are so expensive since we're in a drought so I can't do the diet. But I have a great recipe for a tomato veggie soup you can make it Beef Veggie or just veggies.

Going to sound strand but it's a copy cat for Campbell soup.

One 64oz/2 quartz Vegetable juice

Package of frozen veggies / can use fresh but frozen is faster :D

Half a bag or 1 to 1 1/2 cups barley this helps lose fat and if it's hulled / not processed much, much better.

hulled/not processed barley must be soaked all night or 24 hours then cooked first in plenty of water.

One can 18oz/1pound 2oz Tomato paste

Cilantro I think its Coriander in some places, correct me if I'm wrong. I use a lot but use to taste

Salt to taste.

I add Garlic to taste

Optional,

1 pound ground beef, I grind my own you cut on fat but can use chicken breast put in chunks in processor and ground that way.

Directions,

Cook Barley first when soft throw everything in hahaha and fill the bottle of Veggie juice with water add that to the pot also

Cook until done add Cilantro at end.

Serve Weight Watchers say you can have as much of this as you want it doesn't count.

I let it cool then put in Ziplock bags and freeze so I always have it at hand if I'm starving.

Usually can't keep it long my sneaky parents love it so much they steal it from me hahahaha
