Oh my I'm so very sorry but as they say in our country "no se mueve la hoja de un arbol sin la volunta de Dios." "Not even the leaf of a tree moves without the will of God" all will be well you'll see. :)

Viva Ecuador! :Dflag-of-ecuador.gif

Please when you get a chance fill in your timeline it helps others help you. :)

Muchas gracias Soloenta, and you're right, I guess God's plans are different right now.

I would like to fill my timeline, but I don't have a record of the dates, so I'll try to put that together what I have to see if I can come out with something. :D

I've been 13 months in this process, and 2 more await for me. :(

soleonta , I am having a hard time linking my timeline. I am beginning to get frustrated. HELP!!!!!! No my visa is an ir5, parent with a united states citizen child. I lost my green card, when my mother passed in 2011, I came home to take care of dad. He is now doing fine, he would travel with me, once I get my visa. He would stay for 5months then return back home. He is an active bishop in my country, so he cannot live in the states. Although I would be travelling back and forth to make sure he is fine. My older sis would file I130 for him next year. My daughter turned 21 last year, I miss my darling so much. So does she. She is my life and soul, I would do anything for her legally. I miss California so much, especially the cheese cake factory, papa Joe's pizza, disneyland, universal studios, magic mountain, black Friday ( I love to shop), and the beautiful weather. Venice , Zuma, Leo Carrillo beach here I come. oooh hiking Topanga canyons, calgrove, placerita , can' t wait.

Hi Ebu70

We are scan buddies. Both have a last scan date of 29th Aug. am SO hoping that the children and I - who are both US citizens incidentally - can get back to the US to be with hubby in time for Christmas. Do you think that is doable?

And oh, yes, we all love the Cheesecake Factory in our house. I love their meatloaf!

My sleeping has gotten a lot better since we got the IV invoice. I'm sorry you're not sleep well :( I don't know what to suggest that isn't a drug lol :D

I called in sick on Tuesday and Wednesday because I just couldn't get out of bed and face the day. It's really bad, but I pretended I had a cold and a fever when I didn't, I just didn't think they'd be sympathetic to me saying "I'm not coming in today because I feel sad ;-;"

The days off didn't really make any difference, I just laid in bed only getting up to use the restroom and maybe get food and drink once in a while. I hate when I become this pathetic. My weekends consist of me doing basically what I did on my days off sick. Thankfully one of my friends has invited me out for drinks on Sunday so that'll be a nice break to the monotonous misery.

I haven't even been checking for the N/A because of how insane I went checking for the IV invoice in June and July. At this point I figure I might just wait for the case complete or interview email because it's like watching a pot of water boil, really. If you turn your back it'll happen quicker. It's just difficult to turn your back and ignore it at the same time.

Oh I'm so happy to know your sleeping better, I slept for one hour I'm so rested now. :D

OMG I so know how you feel, I have so much to do taking care of my parents and sometimes I just lay there wide awake just staring out the window or wall. I just need my husband I sleep like a baby when he is with me. But I can still shake it off, have you considered seeing a specialist? They give expedited if you are severely depressed I've seen it. You don't have to take the meds they give you they wont know and an expedite will get you where you want to go and your being truthful. Think about it.

Hi folks! I've been out today...it's great when we find something to do and DO NOT THINK ABOUT THIS GOSH DARNIT FREAKING ABUSIVE NVC PROCESSING. (sorry but not sorry for that!)

Anyways, today we sent the IV package and submit the DS260 (OMG I felt SO tense by doing it! What are those crazy "security" questions????) :help:

Sorry for those checklists I've seen some of you receiving...I just can't believe they take more 60 days to review a simple thing

Hang in there strong people! Don't lose your minds..today I read something pretty awesome and it describes pretty much what I believe...

"Everything you're going through is preparing you for what you asked for"

Soloenta, I loved the pic you sent! Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Idk how download pictures here to show my city sorry sis!!!!!!! (if you explain I might be able to..lol)

Hahahaaa hi E&G hahahaa sorry for what? I dont see anything wrong with your post. Oh I Love that saying and your right it is preparing us for what we asked for. :) What a lovely thought. Oh ty that was the Chimborazo where my father was born. It's a magical place I'll add another one :D Ok well first find where you have your pictures usually in My Pictures or just pictures unless you put them in a special place. Once you know that on the bottom left of your post there is Attachment click on that and look for where our picture is. Choose which one click on it then send I think it is and post. Try it see if it works, do a test run hahahaa.

You're not alone dear. The last two weeks before my CC where the most stressful to me in this journey. You really need to come up with something to keep you occupied for hours for the next few weeks... reading, gardening, rediscovering your town/city (and I don't mean the bars) ...etc.

Nah... just wash it in a with a diet coke and you'll be fine.

Oh YUMMY I want some, start my diet tomorrow :( my husband starts his to hahaha but he gets to eat everything he sees. :( hahhaaaa lucky guy!!

I Thought the same thing if I put an a for his middle name they would probably put it on the papers or give me a checklist for it ha ha. I'm going to do what you did thank you for the info

Hahahahaa OMG Now this is tooooooo sad!

Wow! Came back from a week without Internet to find this split in NVC topics, seems I missed a few things while I was away! Since I'm through with the process I'll probably stay mostly on the "advice" thread for process questions to help people along when I can. I just want to say to any of you who aren't planning on posting over there anymore, I'm keeping you in my thoughts and wishing you all the best. It's an awful process and it has only gotten worse, but it'll come to an end and your new life will be full of wonderful moments together that slowly overwrite the memory of these days. Hang in there guys. I'm glad you have a safe space to vent, but I hope none of you needs it for long :)

Awwww what a beautiful and uplifting thing to say, thank you so very much and I hope you come visit us often if to just say hello. Ty again BOS_LHR your a true gift from heaven. :)

I think I read somewhere on VJ where the person wrote his first name, he then put N/A as middle name, then put his last name. The immigration input N/A as his middle on their system   kinda funny

Hahaha, I've lived in Yellowknife for 4+ yrs... Now that's some cold....Brrrrrrr......!!

If it makes any of you first-timers feel better. I have already had the green card, have two US citizen kids and hubby of 16 yrs, and I am trapped alone on this side of the border going through it all again too.

Let us keep each other's chins up, drink much wine and enjoy Austin's hard drive full of images relevant to the NVC process!

(I have no warm place in my heart for Nebraska these days... fyi).

Hi Kanuk

I am the same as you. Previously had a green card, married for 17 years, have two children, ages 13 and 15, both US citizens and here I am. Crazy eh. Hubby has been back in US at his new job for just over a year now while the children and I wait for my Visa. Hopefully not too long now.

Guys, I am really panicking

I have something really weird.

AOS checklist accepted today. Received a false checklist for Singapore Clearance Certificate which they already have and was scanned 29th Aug.

Just re-read this false checklist where it basically copies the instructions from the Singapore Police to get the Certificate. It is actually out of date anyway as they do not send to NVC anymore but to me at home which is exactly what happened.

At the very bottom of these instructions is the following

10 - Singapore Police Certificate - The Police Certificate that you have submitted does not fulfill the necessary requirements.

However, they haven't even looked at this Certificate yet. I am really panicking and feel physically sick. Anybody seen this before.

The Certificate I sent to them is exactly what they have asked for.

Help!!!
