HI Guys!

god is good I received an email from NVC.

We have waived the requirement of scheduling the applicant’s visa interview. Once the applicant has all the required documents and completes the medical examination at St. Luke's Extension Clinic, he may come to the Embassy's Immigrant Visa Check-in Counter (Window 38) Monday through Thursday (excluding Oct 1, U.S. and Philippine holidays, and last business day of the month), between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for the visa interview.

Applicants are encouraged to register online at the St. Luke’s website (www.slec.ph) prior to their medical exam.

St. Luke's Extension Clinic is located at 1177 J. Bocobo Street, Ermita, Manila. The phone numbers are (632) 524-6082, (632) 521-0020, (632) 521-8647, and (632) 526-4327.

The applicant should compile all the required documents and complete the medical exam before the visa interview. Please note that the medical examination may take more than one day to complete.

I'm ready to book a flight this weekend. I'm just nervous that his medical would take longer. Any thoughts?

Thanks for all your support!

That's great news! Of course, since the child is 5 the interview is usually waived. I forgot that part. Try and have all of that done within the next couple of weeks at the most, if at all possible that way you can be sure the visa will be issued in time. Good luck.

Here is a link with the docs:

All the time God is good. I am happy to know the positive outcome of this. Don't forget to take with your son his vaccination record. Take care to both of you :) .

Hello MY VJ Family!

I just wanted to give you an update regarding our case. We got it all done and he's here now with me (an answered prayer) and I'll give a detailed timeline of what happen. I just can't be more happier now that his here with me. I'd be happy to help or answer any question that those In need of guidance like what happened to me. Thank you for those who helped and gave advices it is surely is a big help and motivation for me to take the chance of getting him. It is worth all the hardwork.

K2 petition will expired 10/18/2014

> 09/09/2014 Send NVC an email with a scan of all the documents they need for a follow to join k2. Refer to manila us embassy site.

> 09/11/2014 Received a reply from NVC that they will be waiving the scheduling of appointment for the interview of my son. We can just go to the embassy in a specific time and window for his interview and the required papers . E.g papers affidavit of support and pretty much everything that you originally submit on your k1 visa. Don't forgot to bring your own documents too.

> 09/16/2014 arrived to the Philippines

>09/17/2014 scheduled his passport appointment. Then they aid we will get it in 3-7 business days but it got delayed. I'm freaking out about it since it been 10 business days and I still don't have his passport so Ive been calling them everyday. Until I figured to email the DFA NCR east directly and beg to process it soon. Then I got a reply the next day that they will.

> 10/01/2014 while waiting for the passport I figured maybe we can have his medical done so if there's something wrong came up we still have a lil time left to fix it. St.Lukes did agree to have his medical done. Did the PPD test and need to go back to read his result and do the vaccine too.

>10/03/2014 passport got released at last!

>10/06/2014 went to the medical place to have his ppd test read and it was negative. So proceed for the vaccine and waited for the result got it in a day.

> 10/08/2014 paid for the visa fee in BPI, went for the interview. APPROVED.

> 10/14/2014 since the 13th of October is Columbus day the next day I called the US Embassy (got an answer from what seems like a call center )and was told that they still don't have his visa and that I should wait and they can't do anything to have it expedited. We have booked a flight for 10/16 early morning which is my worries. So I called again and got directed to the US embassy directly and I told them my case that we cant change my ticket and will have to be in a different flight if we don't have his visa packet the next day. They said it was being processed and expedited and to call the next day.

>10/15/2014 It was talking to my husband il I got a call from the Embassy named Andrew that they got JD's visa packet and I can pick it up from the embassy directly. YEY!

>10/15/2014 went to the CFO place, got there at lunch and since his just 5 y/o they just got to register him and put a sticker on his passport. Paid a fee then got it in an hour or 2.

>10/16/2014 FLIGHT going to the US and Im with my son!

It's been really crazy, hard and tough. MY advice is just take the chance and don't waste a day. If you wanted to be with your kid badly everything is possible and PRAY hard. Again, I wanted to THANK everybody who helped and listen to my journey.

GOODLUCK to everybody and Godbless.

I'm so glad everything worked out for you, and right on time too. I remember that you only had like a month before the one year was up. The next part is AOS, another adventure on its own. Good luck.
