Oh I did try to request an expedited request but it just made the matter worst. I lost all my jobs already so to expedite the process is just useless..

If you don't mind me asking, how did it make the matter worse? What category did you expedite under?

Has anyone's USCIS status not changed past acceptance? We've done the biometrics but we're still at Acceptance on the I 485 and Initial Review on the I765. I sort of except the review for the I765, but it's odd that it has not moved on the I485 even though we did the biometric for it the same day we did the I765. Both appointments were set a few days apart and they took care of both at the I765.

I-129F sent 11-27-13

NOA 1 email 12-5-13

NOA 1 Hardcopy received 12-13-13

Alien Reg Number Assigned 12-17-13

NOA 2 text/email 4-23-14

Sent to NVC 5-6-14 Received 5-14-14

Left NVC 5-19-14 Arrived in Sydney 5-23-14

Interview Email received 5/27/14

Interview 6/24/14

Wedding 8/2/14!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AOS packet delivered 9/11/14
NOA1 texts 9/17/14
Biometrics appt: 10/6/14. We had 2 appts on dif days, but got both done at once and was in and out in 30min at the Nashville location.
EAD Notice: 11/25
EAD Received with wrong b-day 12/4 Contacted on Dec 13th to send it back and they will determine the next step about reissuing it.
EAD fixed by going to an infopass appt. The woman was able to fix it in the system and said don't waste the $ on a new EAD.
Potential Interview Waiver Received 3/2/15
Green Card in hand 7/29/15!!!
Oh I did try to request an expedited request but it just made the matter worst. I lost all my jobs already so to expedite the process is just useless..
So sorry :( What happened?
Hi guys! Going tomorrow to the civil surgeon Dr Hussain Ali Ronaghy for my I-693 and was wondering one thing: my vaccination records are all on my maiden name, but since I filed my application on my new married name, I have filed in my married name on the form. I will bring my marriage certificate along. It should be fine right?
I went to a civil surgeon before sending my AOS cause I was missing a shot at my medical in France. No problem with your vaccination records with your maiden name on it. They asked for my ID (my passport with my maiden name on it) and that was it. You can bring your marriage certificate just in case they asked for it.
Has anyone's USCIS status not changed past acceptance? We've done the biometrics but we're still at Acceptance on the I 485 and Initial Review on the I765. Both appointments were set a few days apart and they took care of both at the I765.
It's normal for the I-485 to stay on acceptance. It will go straight to testing and interview when it's ready for interview scheduling.
No it's not the same address as the application and not the local USCIS office either. The address I have to send my RFE response to is US Department of Homeland Security PO Box 648004, Lee's Summit, MO 64002. I don't know if you can send more evidence there if you haven't got a RFE though.
Did you make a cover letter? What address did you put? Does the cover letter should be the same as if you chose to do the express mail?
Yes I made a cover letter listing all the documents I sent. I used the Lee's Summit address that's in my post you quoted. If you use express mail though, put the other address that's on the RFE yellow letter.
Do not expedite the process if your AOS and i765 is based on k1 visa. USCIS would prioritize those with other visa categories.
K1 visa are sponsored by our partners so even if we claim Financial Loss it will not matter to them. I requested mine to be expedited but it just cause more delays. Some I765 were already approved but mine is in standstill.
I just hope I will received my I765 soon otherwise I will lose the job offer in 3 days time.
I read that some people who came with K-1 were successful in expediting their EAD based on a job offer. I'm sorry yours wasn't :( Really hoping that you'll be approved soon!
Some people never get EAD/ AP and directly get the GC :) , so now just wait until you get a letter with an inteview date! I'm sure very very soon
