I believe today's obseravorka's POE as well.

I'm glad to hear your interview was reasonably straightforward!

We made a similar decision not to go through the motions to file DCF in London. With 20/20 hindsight, that might not have been our best decision... But as you say, no point crying over spilt milk! :)

It really makes you wonder what value NVC brings to this process!?

Still no interview booked, just called and checked. Should I be worried that I have been overlooked?

A bit paranoid since the fiasco of them filing my case before issuing my CC and waiting patiently for 71 days and then finding out they made a mistake.

Thanks everyone! An hour after we left the interview, it went straight to AP, and now the visa is as ISSUED!!!!

Hello there I called the Nvc on Tuesday to see if we got an interview and they confirmed that we do have one on the 21 October 2014 but we didn't get an email yet is that normal ?

I have an interview on 15th October and I didn't get interview email yet. My case complete on 15th August i never got CC email. I don't know why. :huh:

My ceac shows in transit, does that mean my file was sent to the embassy? I'm confused by in transit and ready?

From what I understood (I was too excited about getting our interview date) that the were going to email our file instead of DHL bc we did electronic processing. How long should we wait until our file is there? I asked for an earlier interview date bit they didn't receive our file yet as of the 3rd so I'm wondering when I can request again :)

hello everyone,

Have any one of you experienced this?

This is weird, I have still not received my interview email from NVC, But today I got a call from the Mumbai Consulate confirming that my interview has been scheduled for OCt 1st.

Does this mean, they already have my package with my papers and documents??

I am really freaking out that I have still not received the interview email! :( I know for no reason.. but very restless.

Probably that's good. Did you check and recheck your spam inbox. If still not there just call NVC and ask them to resend.

I think In Transit starts the moment the P4 email is generated, so it might not leave NVC facilities for a day or two yet. Ready means it has been received and tagged in at the Consulate.

As for your case, they might email your NVC submitted docs, but I think your USCIS submitted docs have to go via DHL.

Yes, found out today my wife has her interview October 16th!!

Called NVC around evening time on Sept. 2nd out of curiosity, if they had IV date for me..for the first time, this rep was very polite and gave me a good news that IV date is scheduled for Oct 14th..I asked when I'll get the email confirmation regarding IV date, she said in about a week..then the next day, around evening time, on Sept. 3rd..received an email confirmation with IV date of Oct 14th..Sooooooo excited that I don't even know what I want to do...finally the waiting game will be over very soon now that I've a date..sooooo happyyyyyyyyyy

Hi everyone! Visa was approved today! Quite easy to be honest! Don't know what we were worried about. We were only in there for an hour and 40 mins. Most the time just waiting! The man interviewing us just asked how we met when we married and why my wife moved here first (due to job) and then he asked if I was ever denied a visa which was a no- and then he said your visa is approved!!! Never mentioned domicile at all either. All in all, we are extremely excited and will post a review later :D.

it should show ready on monday... or tonight maybe? i did EP too, i didn't even see "in transit", and this morning I checked was "ready"....yesterday afternoon when I checked it still showed "at NVC"....

so i would believe it's through email, not DHL....otherwise it can't be that fast..
