I have copies of everything just forgot to make a copy of the police clearance. So I'm gna call and see maybe I'll send the other copies

I think the whole theory about making copies is for you to have the original back at the time of the interview. And I think the police certificate is for their own records and the original won't be returned to you. I stand to be corrected by the experts and by those that have gone thru the interview stage.

**sending in copies might delay the date of your CC** You can still call NVC for peace of mind sake.

Hi

DS-261 & AOS submitted 13th August, just waiting for the IV fee to be invoiced then we can move along in this process...its been a very long, tiring, and quiet month!

I have a question about the ds-260, i am assuming it asks for your employers name and address, do nvc actually contact your employer? reason i'm asking is that i wasn't planning on telling my employer that i'll be leaving until a much later date!

Also, my passport is almost full, only 1 page remaining. Does anyone know if this will be an issue at the interview stage or had any experience with this before? I didn't want to get a new passport as then the passport numbers wont match our application...

Thanks!

Over analysing everything right now

Can log in with my case number now, have filled in the ds261.

I can see the IV fee there (not invoiced) but there's nothing under where it says AOS. Is this common?

I tried both of that and same probelm. I even tried on a different computer but I'm getting the same error. This is happening with ALL of my case numbers and inoice ids.. and I have 5 sets of those. So I know I am definitely not entering it wrong for everyone.

I would call the NVC on Monday if this keeps happening. When I had that happen, it was because they had changed my case number. I doubt this is what happened in your case, but I would still check.

How long has it been taking for NVC to review packages lately? Is it true that it takes 60 days nowadays?

that's what they are saying, but as you well know it's NVC. Anything goes.

How are you doing?

Aren't supposed to be they'll be reviewing the IV packet with DS-260? If so, then they will review it from the date they received your DS-260. If they'll be reviewing it separately then DS-260 would be the last thing. I guess either way the last scan date would depend on the DS-260 .

Can anyone else confirm this because I submitted DS-260 on August 6 and my AOS and IV packages scan date is August 8. The NVC rep told me to wait 60 days from August 8. Maybe they review DS260 with AOS and IV packages whether it is submitted at a later date or an earlier date. Also, the 60-day emails mention the last document scan date and ask to wait 60 days from that date.
