Hi all,

My Fiancé and I are compiling all the forms and evidence that needs to be sent off with the I-129F. I've searched and searched this site but can't find all the info I need. I have a few questions, so if anybody could, I'd be ever so grateful!

I keep getting confliciting views when it comes to filling in questions that have no answeres. On both, I-129F and G-325A, if the question does not apply (e.g current Husband/Wife) shall we leave this blank or write 'None'?

For the section titled 'Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than 1 year.', on form G-325A, as I'm still residing at this address and I'll only leave if/when my K-1 comes through, do I leave 'Date to' blank or put this month and year (as this is when I'm filling it out)?

Do we (petitioner and benificiary) need to put our forenames, middle name(s) and surnames on the intent and cover letter, or will the forname and surname suffice?

My Fiancé (the petitioner) is in the US Airforce and was stationed in England from 2011 - 2013. Will he need to show boarding passes from back then to show evidence he was here for us to meet? How much detail do I need to give for Q 34a on I-129F?

As we're getting closer and closer to the holidays, I just want to get this sent of like, yesterday! I hate being away from him so the sooner we can get this done, the better!

Thank you in advance!!!

I don't know the answer for most your questions, but one i can answer!

If your fiancé was in England under military orders, a copy of said orders will be enough to prove he was there for that time being.

Hope someone else can jump in to answer your other Q's!

I can't remember how I filled out the forms for your questions. I'm sorry. However, for evidence, compile everything you have that you've been together. Boarding passes, receipts from the same place/same time. Passport stamps, itineraries, photos. I'd write a fairly detailed explanation of your meeting(s). It's also a good idea to highlight & use post it notes on the photocopies of evidence that's been compiled to make it easier for them to see what you're referring to.

Good luck!

I am the petitioner.

Put "None"

For the section titled 'Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than 1 year.', on form G-325A, as I'm still residing at this address and I'll only leave if/when my K-1 comes through, do I leave 'Date to' blank or put this month and year (as this is when I'm filling it out)?

I remember i didnt put all places i used to live, just the main one like my mom's house, one that shown on my national ID, and one if you used to live in US or other country

Do we (petitioner and benificiary) need to put our forenames, middle name(s) and surnames on the intent and cover letter, or will the forname and surname suffice?

Put name like ones in your passport

My Fiancé (the petitioner) is in the US Airforce and was stationed in England from 2011 - 2013. Will he need to show boarding passes from back then to show evidence he was here for us to meet? How much detail do I need to give for Q 34a on I-129F?

Describe shortly how you met. I didnt sent any prove how we met, i think they again ask this question during the interview at the Embassy and your answer should be consistant to what you wrote.

As we're getting closer and closer to the holidays, I just want to get this sent of like, yesterday! I hate being away from him so the sooner we can get this done, the better!

Thank you in advance!!!

Some questions we put None and some we left blank, depending on what the question was. We just used common sense on some things, I cant remember exact questions we used None for. Usually the ones where we had the ability to actually write it in the little squares.

I wouldn't fret too much on the forms. Just fill them in accurately and there shouldn't be a problem. I suggest front loading your petition with as much documentation and proof of meeting/relationship as possible. The information you send in now goes all the way to the consulate officer at your interview, so anything in there can and will help you.

I agree with everything in here except the last bit. For Q34, write a personal statement about how you met. Write it in first person so it's more personal. On the form itself, put "see attachment." Mine was about a page long. I described how we met, how our relationship evolved, and our decision to get married.

See in RED. Hope this help...

Read the form instructions

I-129f instructions page 2- "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is none, leave the space blank."

Do we (petitioner and benificiary) need to put our forenames, middle name(s) and surnames on the intent and cover letter, or will the forname and surname suffice?

Doesn't matter on a letter. They will throw out the cover sheet in the mailroom. Not a pass/fail issue. Full names seem more posh and official.

My Fiancé (the petitioner) is in the US Airforce and was stationed in England from 2011 - 2013. Will he need to show boarding passes from back then to show evidence he was here for us to meet? How much detail do I need to give for Q 34a on I-129F?

You don't fit the typical filer who flew over to visit and meet. So boarding passes aren't necessarily for your packet. They want to know you have laid eyes on each other physically in person during the last two years. Show he lived in England and you're done. What document will prove he was in England during the last two years?

Detail of Q34--"We were together weekly near [Name] AFB, United Kingdomfrom [date] to [date] where I was stationed." (It is not your love story. They want to know you met in person so you meet the requirement.) This isn't as hard as people make it out to be. Well maybe if they met on the internet and in person once for only two weeks and speak different languages. You are not that person.

I-129F instruction clearly states "Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not application or the answer is "none", leave the space blank.

That said, I've not seen anyone complain on VJ site about their petition running into problem by entering "none",

but its probably the best to follow their instructions.

Ok!! That makes sense. I'm guessing a copy of orders should probably do it in that case! As I've been to the states 3 times this year and once last year after he left, it wouldn't hurt adding those boarding passes. I have terrible handwriting so is it ok to type up the the attached Q34a?

Thank you all so very much!

I know I'm probably over thinking things, I just want to get this over and done with. So thank you again!

To be honest, you really aren't over thinking this. USCIS can be real silly when it comes to one little blank or wrong word and issue an RFE for it.

My advice is to follow the instructions that come with the 2 forms and follow them exactly. Some places they want "none" and others they want it left blank. There is no blanket answer for this. If you follow those to a "T" you should be fine.

Good luck on your journey :)
