Timeline

Common sense would be to check the USCIS website. Really their site has the official dates. Besides the dates on Visajourney don't mean anything to USCIS. The only official place is USCIS.gov Ijs.....TY

Common sense would be to actually be helpful rather than halfway helpful. It would have taken 2 extra seconds to just say what the update was and would have avoided the follow up questions.

Of course. They would post it just TWO DAYS before our date so we're still considered within normal processing time AFTER SEVEN MONTHS. I really hate USCIS.

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

Thanks. Just frustrates the hell out of us to watch as we're passed over and then find out something like missing the next date by two days. USCIS won't tell us a damn thing!

Thanks. Just frustrates the hell out of us to watch as we're passed over and then find out something like missing the next date by two days. USCIS won't tell us a damn thing!

We just got approved :) Noa1 08/15/14 noa2 03/06/15

We just found out that our case was approved! We just checked the uscis page just in case because we didn't get a text message or email. We're very excited! :)

Our NOA1 is August 27th so let's hope the rest of August fillers get news soon. Timelime updated.

POE: October,5,2015

AOS/EAD/AP: October 29,2015 

EAD/AP approved:01/26/2016 card received: 02/02/2016

02/09/2016 GC received

ROC/CITIZENSHIP/Passport-refer to my timeline...

Be patient...it'll all worth waiting at the end!!

Now should I just wait for them to mail us? Or call them for case number? I'm excited and confused at the same time;;

Surprised you're following this thread since you filed in Feb... wouldn't have much relevance.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I mean should we try calling get case number??

Or we don't have to and wait??

Everyone seem to try calling so if that's what we need to do next then we will do it on mon :)
