Thanks everyone for your comments!

We still stuck in CDJ, yesterday the consulate had a fail in the system, so that didnt help to get my passport back.

We have hope that we will get it this tuesday.

Regards to everyone.

Hi everyone. I am feeling so sad today. :crying::crying::crying::crying::(:(:( My fiance had his interview this morning and he got the dreaded 221g form. It says that he was ineligible because he did not have family ties as required by the american law. I do not even know what that means. There were no instruction give as to what the next step is. They gave my fiance 3 different colored 221g with the same info:pink, blue and white I went on the CEAC website, and my case has been updated to administrative processing. I emailed the consulate in Haiti as instructed when I called them. They say they will get in contact with me in 1-2 business days.

Your opinions on this matter are gladly welcomed. Good luck to everyone.

they did keep all his paperwork Several people have told me that it is not a refusal but the thing is no extra documents were requested and no instruction given. So I really don't know what my next step is. Good luck on your next appointment.

I wonder what that means 'no family ties' do you necessarily have to have family in US to be eligible to come? I dunno... to Julie+ Matt hope everything goes well tomorrow! We are just waiting for my fiancé to receive his police certificate from Ghana. He mailed the stuff his family will need to take to the police station in Ghana last week....sigh so, hopefully it won't be too long of a process. also, when you sent your fiancé your affidavit of support, did you fill out the form exactly the way visa journey said? Let me know because my fiancé is London as well. best wishes!
