hi averybody......i dont know if what i am goinf to state is familiar to someone or not....i am us citizen...the point is that had my brother taking care of stuff back im my original country...i met the girl who i will marry and we set up everything.... for a reason i cant go back to my country and do the marriage process yet my brother he will do that ....he is doing everything legally on my behalf especially marriage contract....my question will that make an issue/problem in the future when i file for my wife?? will i need extra documents since my brother would sing on my behalf? i really need insights thanks

Look at his previous posts, he is married, so presumably he is getting divorced first?

Sounds like this marriage will be by proxy. So the answer is no.

hi everybody....that hat i was afraid of and sorry if i wasnt clear enough.......my brother will take care of marriage procedure only ....like his sign ature

and setting up the paperwork....not marrying the girl....it is like having an attorney.... i hope i kind of make it clearer now....on the marriage contract

it will be my name and info and my wife' s ....

hi everybody,

i authorize my brother to act on my behlaf as power of attorney ....back in my country my brother will sign the marriage contract in my absence means his signature will be in the marriage contract......when i file for my wifecome here to the united states ,would it be problem or it would be fine ??

Will you be physically with your wife at any time during or after the marriage? Immigration law is very clear that you must be legally married and have consummated the marriage. This means you must have had sex with the person after the marriage took place. If you marry but are not physically with the person after the marriage you are not considered married in the eyes of US immigration and cannot apply for a spousal visa.

This means you must have had sex with the person after the marriage took place.

"Consummated" in terms of US Immigration simply means spending a night together. What you do during that night is your own business (FWIW, many will just assume that a couple will have done the dictionary definition of the word).
