    I was able to pull up the DS260 submitted and see that my husband did anser "yes" to the ss# question in regards to getting one issued. I will search that on here. Thank you so much for your help, I greatly appreciate it.

    I do not think we paid the $220, who would we pay it to? We also do not remember the option to check the box for a social on the DS260:(

    Good morning everyone My husband petitioned for his mom using the I130, she moved to the US with US last Friday. Now we are at a stand still because we don't know what to do next, will they automatically mail her a green card? Once she receives a green card, then we can have her apply for a social ?
