Is there no end to how bad things can get at TSC? And all this excitement on some of the threads here about "things moving fast at TSC" -- getting an approval after 6 months doesn't amount to moving fast. If the stated goal was 5 months, and it gets approved at 6+ months, it is because it was bound to get approved AT SOME POINT. Hardly reason for cheer as far as TSC itself goes -- even if it is all that counts for an individual application.

This is outrageous.

Yet we've seen some people fly through in less than a month. I have a hard time putting much faith in any of the numbers I see, good or bad. Most of the charts seem to be due to outdated information from a few months behind. When I look at the timelines of people on this site, I see people going through in roughly a three or four month period from filing to visa, as well as the backlog of folks who filed earlier.

I don't know any of the individual circumstances or the processes at the TSC. All I know is there is no point in worrying about numbers that may have no relevance to my petition - and I'm someone who just filed a few days ago. The variations in trend charts simply tell me that past performance is not a measure of future expectations.

You're new LOL. When you've been here a while & look at data, you'll see that all the people flying through the process are being handled at CSC or are Philippine expeditions. Your case will be processed at TSC & they currently are sitting at about 6 months. That is always subject to change.

You're right, I'm new. I've been reading here for a month prior to filing and this site is a wonderful resource. However, there's also a lot of stressed out people (understandably so) who don't always have reliable information. That seems to lead to more stressed out people.

I'm trying not to freak out over things beyond my control. Like the rest of you, we would love to be together as quickly as possible. Some things we just cannot control, though.
