Fiancee had interview this morning in Tirana, Albania and was issued a 221 (g) Refusal letter asking for additional information of ongoing relationship. We submitted greeting card that I mailed to her and she mailed to me, updated letters of intent to marry, Skpye logs, Viber logs and Facebook logs and engagement pictures and other pictures. We have been communicating back and forth since 11/2013 so just a sampling of different days and different months were submitted for Skype, Viber and Facebook.

What else can be submitted other than additional Skype, Viber, and Facebook logs and 2 additional cards that i have received in the mail from her. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I would focus on the time you have physically spent together.

Draft a detailed letter titled Evolution of Our Relationship. It should detail the development of your relationship and how it went though the "normal' steps that all relationships go through. Reference different forms of evidence that will describe each step....cards are nice but emails showing real dialogue (what you talked about in detail, not just a log) are best.

If you don't have this, then you may have to withdraw the petition and generate more evidence and file all over again.

"We have been communicating back and forth since 11/2013 so just a sampling of different days and different months were submitted"

Buy some bulk paper, new printer cartridges and give them every last page. Don't worry about the inappropriate stuff, I bet they see it all.

My lawyer told me my Skype log was thin (I had done as you did) so that's what I did.

Another trip, more evidence from the visit, the excellent previous suggestion about the letter. Give them everything you've got.

Good luck.

Maybe you can go there and attend perhaps if there is a second interview? Some consulates do have second interview for K-1 visa. My husband came to my K-1 visa interview and the CO stopped asking me questions after I told him that he was with me and waited me at the waiting room.

In packet 3 (email) from American Embassy in Tirana, Albania (page 3 of 6)

12. EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP to your U.S. citizen fiance(e). Evidence of relationship to petitioner, such as photographs, correspondence, or phone calls, which should clearly show petitioner and beneficiary; or other evidence of relationship over time. Evidence that the petitioner visited Albania, such as ticket stubs or travel reservations.

I believe we fullfilled this requirement but obviously will send in "additional proof".

Quality not quantity is the key.

Hence my earlier mention of 'face time'.

Eastwoodclint, everything you showed the consulate in Albania is pretty much the same thing I showed the consulate where I applied for my K1, but it seems your relationship is old enough, you only showed evidence dated '' communicating back and forth since 11/2013'' to my understanding, that's about 10 months proof of communication, that my friend is a red flag. forgive me if I am wrong here. You should try prove to them you have known this person for as long as you can prove. it seems the red flag is based on the length of communication, of which the consulate will not disclose that. Thank you.

I don't think 10 months of communication is a red flag. If that were the case, a lot more people would have trouble and have the OP's current problem.

OP- how many pics of you two together were provided? How many plane tickets? In other words, how much evidence did you provide showing how much time you've spent physically together?

This is why I like this forum, everyone come here to share ideas, my ideas might be wrong, I am thinking 10 months of communication sounds shaky, but true 10 months is enough to prove your relationship. Sometimes people get different and irrelevant reasons for refusal.
