My family says "I HAVE GONE CRAZY" and due to stress, I have gained weight. Moreover I can't even concentrate on my studies. Every Night is sooo long. I just keep speculating  , making assumptions, what if I get IV fee bill on this and that day, how long its gonna take after that. Will I make it to December interviews. Ohhh no with this New NVC policy, it might be in Feb. From August I jumped to Sept then Oct, Nov and so on. Everyday I count 30 business days and 60 calendar days both :clock::clock: lol yes I realise I am stuck in this NVC WORLD!!

Yes I think we have all gone crazy and pulling our hair lol. And I get déjàvu feeling when I read these kinda posts. Nvc is totally Uscis all over again now. That backlog was horrible. And this is getting just as horrible slowly.

Hi, I have been lurking around this group for some time. My NOA1 was May 2013. Is there anyone else that is still trudging through this process from that far back? Looking at the spreadsheets it looks like no one is left from the summer. I have had no RFE or checklists and still I think I am way behind everyone else. Anyone else still out there?

YES YES! MAY, 2013

Although i had a RFE but USCIS didn't generate the RFE Letter and kept us waiting for two months. We had to put in a gazillion service requests plus calls and were at the verge of a nervous breakdown when the letter finally came in. So, we lost two months in this whole process thanks to USCIS :/ Hope you are out of here soon though. Wishes!

I know how you feel, it's in our mind all the time, can't shake the speculating, wondering etc. I don't know how I managed it, but while waiting for the visa I have written my Master's thesis and am now starting my PhD. I wonder if that'll be half way done before we get the visa  But at least the writing (and working full time) has kept me occupied and hence somewhat sane.

We visited my family in Edmonton for a couple of days, drove down to Calgary and spent the night, then today we drove south (and a bit west) to Spokane, WA. (The customs guy in Idaho was the grouchiest one in all the border crossings this trip, but none of them gave me any hassles (thank goodness!))

Tomorrow we go to Portland, then the next day back "home" to Vancouver.

You're smart since you waited for a CC while taking a road trip (rather than sitting in front of a computer and checking the CEAC site 50 times a day)!

Good luck with your interview in Montreal! Perfect time to go to Montreal before it gets really cold. :) I hope I don't have to bring my snowshoes when I go to Montreal for my interview.

We'll have to get together again in Vancouver before you leave for the US (since your case is moving faster than mine). :star:
