DS-260 question: In the section for employers in the past 10 years, do you also need to include the current employer, even if you just listed it on the previous page? The reason I ask is because it specifically says, "Provide the following information on all of your previous employers from the last ten years, starting with the most recent employer". This is probably a really obvious answer but I just want to ask the people who have already passed this step. :D Thank you!

I'm sorry I didn't have to answer that question but I did have the question about his educational background and I excluded on providing the most recent one since I had already given that information on an earlier page. I could be wrong though, so hopefully someone else has answer for you!

Repost :)

I read that as previous employers in reverse chronological order.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

I don't remember giving the educational background on any other page besides the one with the work background. I'm not sure which page you are referring to.

I did the signature timeline, now its see if it shows. Thanks for all who helped me. Also, I had so many wrong dates on there, no wonder you guys thought my timeline was fake!!! As you can see, I have not figure out how to respond right on the comment for everyone because sometimes that little quote thing does not show up. Anyway, thanks!!!

How did you get your timeline into your signature? Did you do that manually or some setting in your profile? I am interested in getting my timeline to show up as part of my signature.

BTW, your timeline looks really weird since there are no breaks for each incident and the whole thing is one long line.

Ok, I had to go into My Profile -> Settings -> Signature and then manually type in my timeline. It would have been better if the timeline which I filled out under my profile showed up automatically as my signature.

Now, I am going to have to go edit my signature each time something happens. Oh wait, I doubt anything is happening for another 30 days thanks to NVC taking its own cool time to open up my package.

That was my thought exactly. Although I'm still hoping it has something to do with having served in the military - not gender. Cause that at least would make some sense. Has anyone looked into this by any chance? I'm curious now ?

Sitting in CLE waiting for my flight back to England. Thankfully this will be the last time we have to say goodbye.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Hi everyone,

I've been following this thread for the past month, on and off...I try to not check it too often because it makes me more anxious. Can somebody explain to me how it's possible for some people to get their IV fee available in a couple days and for others it takes 60 days.

I submitted my DS-261 on 07/09/2014 and I still have not been able to pay my IV fee. I am fine with NVC being behind on their processing. It just makes me feel like, maybe I'm not doing enough to have my wife here with me, but I don't know what else I can do. I'm sure this is feeling shared by many people on here.

Also, to the people that get approved really fast, Congratulations! I'm definitely happy for you! Wish this happened to everyone.

It looks like a few new entrants to NVC got things faster than older ones. I know it is not fair, but NVC has kind of process flow, out of anybodys understanding.
