This process has shattered me. I have lost all of my friends through lack of contact. I feel like my relationship with my wife is not even that good any more. I don't see the point in going on. I have stopped eating very much, I sleep as much as possible because I hate being awake. I don't see any point in anything anymore.

Also I only have a few days of vacation time saved up, and it takes 3 days to get there and 2 to get back. I also don't really have the money right now.

Everything is negative right now because your depressed and you need HELP with this so you can see the truth. Your just not thinking right and why let them beat you, you beat them but staying strong. Come on we are here for you and wont let you go no matter what. (F)

What does it mean when they tell you your documents are under review?

It could mean anything. Either scanned and just sitting in the system, or someone is actually doing the action of reviewing it.

Why? Have you checked out some of our time lines and how long we got stuck at USCIS, I would have given my right kidney and part of my liver for the privilege to be expedited for the joy of living with my husband. :D Sounds harsh but only because it's typed not spoken. (F) (L) (F)

Of course, I am grateful for being expedited at all (feel like I have said this so many times now!) :) I think all of us wish there was a way to make the NVC stage go faster whether we got through the first stage faster or not. :) I spoke to a really nice guy this morning at NVC which was pleasant. Small blessings huh?

Ok here it goes, I got an email to fill DS-261 thrice and I called NVC to know whats going on??? The rep I talked to was very very rude since the starting. He told me, he can't see my form in their system, AND I NEED TO RESUBMIT IT and I was almost into tears. Its been 30 days already.!! If I resubmit now, It would reset the clock. I just feel so low. Couple of days back a rep told me, I don't need to resubmit it because it shows completed on website and also I have the confirmation number with me. So I called NVC again, hoping for a nicer NVC rep. She told me, don't resubmit it. You need to wait couple of weeks more. It is not showing into our system because it hasn't been reviewed yet. I don't want to share all this with my hubby because he already thinks I am agonizing over this whole process. These reps are giving contradicting statements. I don't know whom to believe. If after 30 business days or whatever 60 days, it doesn't show up into their system, Can I call for a supervisor review? I don't want to resubmit it after waiting for 60 days and waiting again for another 60 days.I don't know what to do...!! I am so fed up now :cry::cry::cry:

if u can see "completed" in CEAC website then that's fine.It will take 30-40 days to review the documents and to get IV bill (ours took exactly 35 days)

This afternoon I left and got a rep name Torre _ I told her how the reps were giving me conflicting information and that I became frustrated from that so I called to speak with a supervisor who was not available. Later, the supervisor called me back and I missed the call. So I ask her to speak with a supervisor, she ask if she was able to help. So I told her that I wanted to find out how long does DS 261 takes because I submitted it July 8 anf they received it on the 10 - this upcoming Thursday will be 30 days so she said , she can help by submitting it so one of the supervisor can review so I can get the for IV Bill to move forward. I was super glad!!! I called later to play with my luck for AOS package, the rep Arthur was quite ruse telling me that I was yelling when I was not. He was literally SCREAMING AT ME. At first I was pissed, the I sympathize because the week must have beat the mess out of him.

Pardon my typos: I am just that sleepy - going to bed now!!!

It looks like we have almost identical timelines and the same consulate.

I do have a question that I hope you can answer. My wife ordered a certified birth certificate but nowhere on the birth certificate does it say "certified". I'm trying to figure out if I have the one I need for her IV package. Assuming you've done the same, can you tell me if your (or your husband's) birth certificate has "certified" written on it?

if Birth certificate starts with "This is certified that.............as per original records available with this office" its called as certified copy.which means they just extracted the details from the original birth register available with them.

You need a police certificate from all the places you've lived since the age of 16. So she needs it for all of the places after she turned 16.
