Bad news, I've been able to get my IRS Transcripts online for last 3 years, however, my Joint Sponsor try's to create an account and it causes an error. We now have to order the transcripts by mail or he might have to go to IRS office. So that's gonna be a delay now.

Has anyone been having issues with IRS website?

Yes my husband couldn't access it either. He ordered them online and we sent the AOS package late because of that. I suggest u either go to the IRS office with sponsor or either wait for the mail. It will come in 7-8 days.

And yes u can send the IV package before that's not a problem.

Hi VJ friends. Had a weekend off of VJ to enjoy a girls' weekend in the city. Such a great time to just relax and forget about all of this process. I did have a couple sneaky peeks at the forum when I was away, but only have just now caught up on all of the posts. Phew! Funny that this weekend was supposed to be a big farewell party for me when we planned it months ago, but I still won't be going anywhere anytime soon!

Was hoping for a CC before I went away, but didn't get one. Called Friday morning (Thurs night US time) and they quoted 30 business days. Checked ceac a few times, but my AOS fee has not changed to N/A. Hoping for something early this week, but won't hold my breath now that they have send out the 60 days letter. I didn't receive it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised at anything anymore. Just when I am so close I can smell a case complete, they change the rules again. Oh well, after nearly 14 months, what difference does it make anymore?

So glad you had a good weekend with the girls and had a little respite from us. Hopefully, you will hear this week.

I am 20th June for IV and they are working on that on Friday. Hoping to hear something Monday their time. I will hardly be able to sleep tonight. Lucky I get up at 4.30 am each morning to take my son to swim training - I will get to check emails early. Who am I kidding, I sleep with my phone by the bed and every time I hear a little buzz throughout the night I check. VERY bad habit that I am going to stop once this is all over.

do u guys think the 60 day email is ONLY referring to document reviewing (AOS and IV Packages) and not the DS forms(261 and 260)? or is it going to take 60 days after submitting DS-261 to open up the IV fee too???

My wife did the same exact thing..They checklist us for it too!!! Where the statement was twice, and the document in place of it!

For a W-2 that doesn't exist in the UK for my wife. The equivalent is a P60. It was removed though after 31 business days..

Could you also add about how to find out the NVC case number assigned date from the case number? Also, I think I may have missed it, but if not, I don't find the bit about writing the case number on the upper right hand corner of the documents. Another thing is caution about not clicking the completed DS-260.

Thanks AustinCanada, I really hope my CC is around the corner. And I hope your month flies by. Oh, not a double digit immi-versary! How innocent we all were when we thought we could easily move to the States with our spouses. This is a true test of patience!

Thanks lovely, I hope for great news for us both very soon. CC for me and a false checklist for your IV docs. Then we can relax until the next step of this marathon journey.

I have also become much worse at "checking" everything. I feel on edge every time I hear a notification and get butterflies before I check my ceac status. I just can't wait to move on and worry about something else in life I can't control.

Hi all

I just got off the phone to the NVC and the news was as expected - 60 business days to review any correspondence.

This made me wonder when we can expect this whole shemozzle to be completed. Our AOS scan date was 27/06 and my Part IV scan date was 24/07. This means our AOS isn't going to be touched until 19/09 at the earlist, and our Part IV isn't going to be looked at until 16/10 at the earliest.

If either of these gets a checklist, is it correct to assume that it will take an additional 60 business days to review each packet?

If this is the case we could be looking at a CC in mid January!!! And that is if the NVC is able to keep it's processing times to 60 business days (what if it blows out to 90 or even 120 business days??).

We might even be stuck until the middle of next year!

I think the only way I can stay sane is to just forget this is all happening, and hope that one day later this year I might get a nice email from the NVC, but the way things are going I really doubt this will happen.

We do have upside though - at least we will get to spend another summer here!!

Did you mean the DS-261? Because I have that note already. If you meant the DS-260, as far as I know, you can't re-open the DS-260 any longer, so one can click all they want on that form.
