Today are 5 months i am waiting to have a NOA2.

I really don't know and don't understand why Nebraska gives as deadline 5 months to have a NOA2!

Usually they teached me to not lie, NEVER!

But i see the US governement can do it without any problem at all!!

I will keep waiting for more 5 months I guess, but my trust on the US system is dropping LOW LOW LOW.....

The 5 months is only an estimate not a guarantee or promise. Some take 10 months to a year others less so it averages out to 5 months. Sorry you are feeling discouraged. Just be patient it will come. In the meantime are you already for NVC stage?

5 Months is not an estimate, but a promise!!!

I would be very happy to know that my case is in NVC!!

Okay. I understand you are frustrated but no need to cuss and be rude. I was only providing the NVC process because any day you could be approved and I was just showing you the document so you can get your documents together.

No where on the government site do you read its guaranteed 5 months. You could be in security checks, extended background checks, waiting to be adjudicated. And everyone knows Nebraska has basically stopped even doing petitions. Like I said the USCIS 5 months is the average I was talking, not VJ's predictions.

If you notice on the government website that you're quoting, it also says the processing times are as of May 31, 2014, which was over 6 weeks ago. We filed in May and had high hopes because in May the Nebraska center was processing at under 5 months, but has since slowed down, so I would guess that near the end of July when they publish the June numbers, it will no longer be 5 months' processing time.

And just to let you know as a future resident, the US government doesn't promise or guarantee any dates on anything I've ever seen. This is an estimate, not a promise.

Good luck and hopefully it will be soon for you with a Feb date.

Its been 5 months i am waiting for my wife coming from Italy, and i am old enough to not maybe see her before my death, all of this is very sad, but anyway i will keep waiting and just surprised to see people that in 90 days get the interview and the visa!!

I know very well what to do after the NOA2 and sorry if i offended you, was not my intention!

Hi Camelott..even when I was waiting for my NOA2 California Service Center gave a wait of 5 months...buuuut...every 2 months the wait increased...so I got my NOA2 after 19 months...don't lose hope

I rather doubt that anyone has gotten through the IR1/CR1 process in 90 days. You understand, of course, that its an immigration visa and because of that they delve more deeply into background checks before they move your petition from stage to stage? Stay the course, you should hear something soon. I'm in the same timeframe, and I understand your anger and frustration. I can't afford the energy it takes to hold onto mine, and I sure can't control it...so I let it go. At least for another few weeks.
