Quick question Im sure has been asked 100 times. I show a delivery reciept for my AOS Pkg at the Chicago lock box 7/7/14 - how long it the typical time to receipt to NOA1?

We are about a month ahead of you. Our packet was delivered on June 9th and the NOA-1 notice was dated June 11th. The NOA-1 letter arrived June 16th.

Our packet arrived on June 30th, still no NOA1 for us. From looking around this forum some people get their notification within a few days, for others it takes weeks. Looks like our AOS packet is in the latter pile!

It can take up to a month to get the NOA1, although it usually arrives within a week.

Sigh this is so stressful! I wish I had signed up to vj long ago. Here is my situation: we submitted our aos June 2..arrived June 6 but I realized I had incorrect amount on check (ugh!!) was returned to us June 30. We sent it off again July 2 arrived July 7. So now I am just waiting for them to start the process again for us. They gave us a green paper to put on top so I'm hoping it will speed things up :(

June 2, 2014: sent Aos package June 28,2014: Received Rejected AOS package for incorrect fees? July 2,2014: filed I485,i130,i765,i131 with correct fees July 10,2014: received email notifications July 16,2014: Official NOAs in mail July 28: did walk-in biometrics *Actual date for biometrics was Aug 7,2014 August 20,2014: interview date

Lol...... Don't be nervous. I've seen timelines where people sent their packages before me, buy had their biometrics a week or two after I did.

Once your package is complete now - hopefully - you'll be fine.

Lol...... Don't be nervous. I've seen timelines where people sent their packages before me, buy had their biometrics a week or two after I did.

Only reason I'm kinda nervous really is because I corrected the address section to our po box on the i130. We can't receive mail at our physical address because of our remote location, so I'm hoping that's not a problem.
