Just checking in to see if there were any NY filers who are still waiting to hear about their 485 cases. Our status online still says it's in the acceptance stage and hasn't been touched since 7/11.

I had called the customer service line about 3wks ago and was told that the possible reason why our case hadn't been touched was because they were waiting for my husband's biometrics... which he had completed since August 1st and has had he's EAD since early/ mid September.

Our case was transfered to Nebraska on 7/10. And we're just waiting...

Just curious as who else is waiting also.

my I-485 went Testing and Interview and says "READY" for scheduling last August 19.. but now it's October I still have no interview schedule :cry:maybe the scheduling varies by state (just maybe)?

I guess it does! I think it depends on how busy the Local USCIS office since you will be Interviewed there...

Got EAD/AP Combo Card today.

But we receive another Biometrics Appointment for my daughter(8 yrs. old) even though we already did it last August 26. I called USCIS about it and they told me we really have to take daughter there for the Biometrics Appointment. I really wonder why this happened. Her I765 wasnt approve yet but I131 is already approve same day as mine(Sept. 30) and also we got Interview Schedule letter already.
