How strict are they on beneficiary photos required for IV package? It says 2 by 2...If i cut it 2 by 2 it wont be proportionate....Does it matter?

Yes it matters.

These photos are the ones that are used for the visa and green card. Make sure they're correct even if you have to do it yourself with the tool on the NVC website or https://www.epassportphoto.com/

Hi Saylin! May I make a suggestion?

I was thinking (since it happened to several users and many people have asked about this), what if you add to the wiki that when the AOS fee changes to N/A, it probably means that the case was completed, since users have confirmed a CC soon after the change?

And remind that everyone's affidavit of support and civil documents appear as N/A since the beginning

Or maybe add it to post 1 if you don't want to change the wiki

Congrats! My AOS packet was scanned into the system the day after yours, so hopefully we´ll have an answer soon! I´m not too keen on calling again since I spent 50 minutes on hold last night before being told the packet is still being reviewed. Have you received a checklist or any sort of email confirmation?

March 31 Approved (USCIS website)

April 4 mailed to NVC (USCIS Website)

April 16 file received at NVC

May 13 case number and IIN assigned

May 19 DS261 available and filled online

May 20 AOS invoiced

May 21 AOS paid

May 22 AOS packet sent from California

June 16 IV invoice email received (delay in showing on payment portal)

We sent off the AOS packet on 7th May (IV packet had already been approved and we received the false checklist for that.) We called up today, and we are still "under review". I know there probably isn't, but is there anything we can/should be doing to speed this up? It's been 39 business days (not including public holidays.)

you should've had CC around June 7th!! when was the AOS packet scanned? Maybe you can talk to a supervisor and see whats up? You are almost closing in on 2 months from when you sent your last documents.
