This wouldn't be him if he got case complete 24th.

You have to know when your petition is shipped. I doubt very serious if that is yours and this is his. Keep checking. I know fridays is the usual send out dates.

Have you called NVC to ask when your petition went out or if it has or not?

N-400 (Naturalization) July 2017 filer. Oath Ceremony: November 2nd 2017.

Sent application to Lewisville, TX on 07/03/2017. Case received and check cashed on 07/11/2017. Biometrics: 08/03/2017. In Line for Interview: 09/05/2017. Interview scheduled: 09/18/17 (notice received 09/21/17). Interview date: 10/23/2017. Oath date: 11/02/2017. Passport received: 11/20/2017.

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS (I-751):

Vermont Service Center received package on Aug 18th 2016.

NOA 1 date: Aug 19th 2016 (received letter on Aug 24)

Biometrics date: Sept 23rd 2016

Finally!! CC on June 26th. And I was told that they requested the U.S. consulate in Montreal to expedite our interview. What does that mean? I'm curious when we should be expecting to receive our interview date under two scenarios: 1.) if it is and 2.) if it is not expedited. This might give me a timeline to try to plan on when it could be. How long before we should get our email giving us the interview date?

Quick question, how long will it take to get the plastic GC? May I go to SSN office? will the visa stamping should be good enough to apply SSN? If so, do I need to renew that after I get the plastic card? (I think on DS260 we marked "ssn is needed", so do we still need to go SSN office?)

SS cards come pretty fast. usually within 3 weeks. If you in a hurry I guess go down there after a week and get it.

Thanks dwheels76. So I don't need to apply for SSN as I mentioned that on DS260.

I thought if I go with passport (which has visa for one year), SSN might come up with some restriction (which is the case for some visa categorize like H1B).

Nope no need to renew your temp green card stamp is in your passport so no worries. there.

Some have gone to SS office I have a friend they arrive here the 21st and went to SS office on 24th and got SS card the 28th. So if you are that much in hurry to get a card (they need to get child in school) I would do it.

Coming to check in. My esposo and I were at the beach all weekend, soaking up the last few days of tropical sun before moving back up to the USA!

Our interview is tomorrow. I'm ridiculously nervous!!! I've now triple checked all our papers and I think everything is in line. I also put post-it notes in our wedding album so the agent can navigate easily.

This time tomorrow I should be able to report back and tell everyone what happened!!

Husband went to the embassy today to get the packet. The want pictures of our on going relationship, my w2's and my original divorce decree. I am getting my daughter's W2 since she is now the sponsor. I have tons of pictures and I also have the divorce papers. Also l am also stopping by the national registry in Costa Rica on our way to the interview to get a certified copy of my divorce decree, Just to show them that my divorce is registered !!

its been a friggin chore to get my lawyer to return my calls or answer my emails. I am furious at him right now for avoiding my questions about our waiver...
