We are filing in HK as well! I actually will be working here til mid july and then moving back to the US. Hoping the Hk embassy is smooth! We received our NA01 email on 6/13 and the paper on 6/23.

Nice! yea it would be great if the HK embassy could get us a quick interview right after the long wait. I'm also in HK, staying here until the end of September, I was hoping my fiancee could came back with me, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen going through the TSC. Goodluck!

I really don't hope that the Philippines will get expedited...

That means that the rest of the world has to wait even longer....

It sounds really mean, but they have gotten more then enough cases expedited.. A lot op ppl are still in the back burner because of that

Hello All. I just found this site accidentally, but I am glad that I did. I am engaged to a woman that I met while I was working in Brazil. We got engaged and have filed the paperwork using an attorney to guide us through the process. She initially told us that it should be less than 5 months, but then after the paperwork was filed, she said that the TSC has slowed significantly and that we can expect a timeframe greater than 5 months. Anyone have any input or feedback? The notice of action I received was July 8th. This really seems like an overly bureaucratic process, but in the end it will be worth it to finally be together. I'm heading to Brazil this coming week to see her and hopefully we can get a better idea as to what we should expect for the approval of her visa. Be well everyone and thanks in advance for your feedback/ experiences...I will read more in here.

They already got expedited for a few months now.. There are people waiting for 7 months now who still did not get a NOA2 because of that. So if you ask me. No, they should not get expedited anymore.

Anyway i read online that they only got expedited till march. So, it's over now. And that right now they are working on all the other cases that got left behind.

I'm very sorry if this is true for you, If not that you are very lucky.

I just would rather not wait 7 months to see my man back. You know.

:)

I wish everyone the best in this! <3

I filed in June as well and although I am happy for all those who have received their NOA2 already it's very painful knowing that the TCS is so behind. I was thinking of writing a petition and having other VJ members sign it. Either that or write to my local senator. Processing time needs to get expedited.

I agree with you Ayla it is not fair that the ones who have been waiting 7 months due to the expedites lets hope they have stopped and we can all get back to our loved ones ASAP
