Congratulations!! Usually an RFE is something simple and is resolved easily. You can get a roa2 in 2 to 4 weeks and you're on the radar now!! This is good news.

Thanks so much - you're right, they did look at it, so hopefully (PRAYING) it's something minor that I forgot to include. And I hope that when I fix things it won't take too long. As soon as I got the email, though, I thought of you since we have the same NOA1 date - hoping you hear something soon!

I can only imagine the frustration and the worry but look at the positive: they have looked at your file AND contacted you. Whatever it is, you and your better half are one step closer to being together. You have this community to support you, you have your fiance, and your whole life ahead of you. Whatever it is, it can be figured out. Just take a deep breath. You got this!

This was such an amazing response, thank you so much. It made me all teary! This just proves that the VJ community is amazing and all of you keep me sane. (L)

To everyone getting approvals, congrats! To those getting RFEs (liiiike us), it'll all work out and at least we got some kind of acknowledgment of our applications.

And to those of you still waiting, don't worry...it looks like they're working on June! And for the record, I was getting a validation error on my login for about 4 days before I got the RFE email, so I'm not so sure it's just because of the site updates...

Don't be discouraged. You have such a difficult situation, but for all us, it's going to turn around any day now, any moment. I'm anxious to see you get your approval as much as I am for mine.

Congrats Andies! I'm so excited so many people are finally getting what they deserve! You too feeling_hopeful!

Hi!

I think it's absolutly not related to the country you are from. I'm from Canada and I have a Nexus card (so background check up has been done less than a year ago) and I'm still waiting for my June petition to be approved. I think it's just a matter of who open the box with your K1 and how fast they work!

It's only a matter of days before our approval and we need to stay positive about it!

You bring up a really good and interesting point with the Nexus card -- I have both Nexus and Global Entry (I'm a USC)...I wonder if that has ever made any difference? For what it's worth, we got an RFE yesterday (160 days after our NOA1), so I doubt it expedites anything. But I wonder if it makes the process for the officer any easier, lol

I feel like part of the process is already done for the officiers with the Nexus Card.

My fiancé and I had big hope when we first filled, but realised patience is the key!

Glad to see a fellow Montreal applicant on Vj... We sent out our application June 23rd,got our noa1 june 30th,and eagerly awaiting our noa2. This is a real test of patience, and patience really isn't my best quality... However I'm taking comfort in the fact that 3 1/2 years of long distance relationship is soon in the past! Stay strong everyone, good things are on their way for us, I'm sure of it

That cant be true. There are people from August and september and so forth that can't check their status.

It's just because we are june and they are working on our cases. I really don't think it has a single thing to do with the error message.

Feb.23,2018: Mailed I-751 to CSC

Mar. 21, 2018: Received NOA
