Hello everybody!

We are so glad we got NOA2 after 35 days of waiting!

So I ask... What do we have to do now? What kind of documents we have to get?

Please, help! :)

Thanks

Congrats on getting your NOA2 timely! Here's the K1 flowchart for your reference: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

NOA2 is Step #4 in the flowchart. Afterwhich, you will receive the NVC letter assigning your case number. The current timeframe for NVC to process your application is 2-5 weeks. But you can give them a call in about 10 business days after you received your NOA 2 hard copy: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/nvc/nvc-contact-information.html

The NVC letter contains the case number information and likewise informing you that your files will be forwarded to the consulate where your fiancee will be interviewed. Hope anybody who went through Brazil consulate will chime in with regards to the documents you need to have for the embassy interview. It will be a good idea as well to check on the embassy website for the K1 interview requirements, as some of these documents are country-specific.
