USCIS says they shipped my case the 20th of June. What phone number do I call? And which numbers do I ask for? I'm currently with my wife in Bolivia. We moved from Italy to Bolivia because it's cheaper to live here. I sent an email notifying NVC of the move, but received only an automated response. Should I tell them over the phone too?

Hi Guys,

I received my NOA2 on May 16 and have been calling the NVC for two weeks now. The phone is always busy and I cannot get through! I did send two emails to the NVCINQUIRY@state.gov but have heard nothing from that either. Is there another number or another way people have gotten through? The USCIS had my old address (they sent the NOA2 to my old address after I changed the address to my new one online :ranting: )

Unfortunately, you just need to keep trying. I've sat doing redial for over half an hour continuously but that was in the morning EST. Last time I called about 4 EST and got through in about ten mins.

Thanks. I called after being on hold 35min I was told they received file and she gave me the standard line that it takes 20-30 days for them to input in the system. Looking at others timelines thats accurate.

Hello - that 30 days can be from when the ds 261(agent form) is acknowledged on the system.

on average i have needed about 15-20 mins of continuous calling to get through -then anything from 15-30 mins wait in the call queue.

Wondering how long NVC will keep this up.

case number and IIN number for almost two weeks now and still can't access DS-261 or AOS!!

I really need the strength to deal with this.

USCIS and now NVC.

Sigh!!

Sadly that's the name of the game - patience and yet more patience!

At the moment progress is v-e-r-y s--l---o----w ...

I don't know how long the queue is at the moment for the AOS fee and DS-261 to appear

but for your next step after that - IV fee/DS-260 - NVC are quoting 30 days from the date that the DS-261 is displayed as completed.

I read somewhere that NVC have received a larger than usual batch of accepted cases from USCIS - with the inevitable knock-on effect of delays and more delays.

we'll find out eventually....

best wishes

rjw

ps I have a magicjack USA telephone number so once paid for now I dont pay for calls to NVC - might help if anyone is getting big phone bills from international dialling to the USA.

(and being on hold for long periods etc....)
