I got the email listed below from NVC today. Anyone heard of this before? I have no idea what they are talking about as the docs I submitted are not password protected. I can open the docs in practically any laptop I have including my iPhone.

We are unable to review your attached forms and documents because they are password protected. Please resubmit the attached forms and documents without password protection so we may review and process the documents.

That means we have to wait for 1month to get it approved & accepted, hopefully if we don't get checklisted. That's about middle of july. Its been 2weeks since I submitted DS-261. No IV bill yet!!! Oh my God, this process is just way too long. Does everything in NVC have to take 30days!!!

Same here. I submitted DS261 on June6 and it's been 2weeks now..no IV bill yet. I do hope all of us here will hear good news from NVC soon!

Please think of complaining about those at NVC that are rude we really don't need the stress and if we don't complain nothing will ever be done. The following link was origianally posted by LoveMyTico. :D

For nasty NVC customer service Reps e-mail complaint

NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. Attn : P I Dept. ( in the subject line)

ALSO IF THEY LOSE YOUR PACKAGES/FORMS.

Anyone know how I can have it permanently placed on my posts automatically? Ty :D.

I emailed them this morning :) I was tempted to do it last night but decided to wait until I had calmed down so that I sent a carefully worded message instead of '#### Arthur' :)

Yes I am the petitioner but I had to come back home a year ago. I brought back two Egyptian Mau kittens from a rescue org called Egyptian Mau Rescue Org EMRO look them up. It cost me a rabies vaccine and the flight which was 200 dollars from Egypt to L.A. A small fee from the rescue, it's the same for dogs so I could have but left my little ones home for safety. :) I would never leave one of my babies behind that's for sure. :D

Your smiley just reminded me of the Sweet Brown "Ain't nobody got time for that".

I hope you do get invoiced for the IV soon!!!

Hah! Had to Google it :D

Thank you :)

Blueberry, Great news! Is it because you've been waiting for the IV fee invoice for 30 days? what.gif

I heard you could talk to a supervisor if you've been waiting for at least 3 weeks on one of the Facebook groups (sorry, I don't remember which one since I subscribe to three Facebook groups!). smiley-laughing001.gif

Umm, not sure actually? We did mention ( :P ) we'd been waiting for 30 days already and the supervisor right away said he would review our DS261 and unlock the fee.

I said to my husband " Seriously? Was it really that easy??". Spidey_Not_Kidding_by_KrazyKop.gif

Not sure about that "3 week rule" to be honest...

I'm subscribed to 4 FB groups :P

On hold to NVC now.. Hoping a supervisor can help with our AOS checklist.. I spoke to my uncle who confirmed he did put everything in the package for proof of his filing extension so if they haven't got it, it's because they misplaced it taking it out of the package... Fingers crossed I don't get Arthur again!
