This showed the priorities for those that skipped the wedding for the going to the game... Some people really live for this kind of stuff, it's even a cause for divorces because one side feels like the TV is more important than being together and gets between their relationship... A real fan won't skip a game for a wedding, maybe they were not so close friends at all?

Wonder if the husband wanted to go to the game too?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I am not necessarily proud of this but, my brother asked me to be the best man in his wedding. He told me the date and I confirmed that I would be honored to stand up for him if the ceremony was in the afternoon because I was playing in a golf event at a Nicklaus course not available to be played at by the common man. When he told me the ceremony was at 11AM, I told him that he was at risk. He understood and scheduled the ceremony accordingly(11AM). Needless to say, I did not finish my round until 11AM and I was an hour away. I arrived shortly before Noon and they were waiting for me. The ceremony began at Noon. I told him....... (needless to say my mom was pi$$ed but......)

That's what I said, but apparently I'm not a good friend.

A good friend would truly understand that I'd have to go to the game...that's what I say.

I guess I would not be a good friend either. If I had the opportunity to go a playoff game of my team I wouldn't hesitate missing a wedding. And besides all my friends completely understand my passion for my Packers. They probably would wonder why I was at their wedding instead of at the game if I had the chance for tickets.

And on a side note I will say I am totally going for the Saints. Their coach Sean Payton went to the same university I did at the same time. I even knew him because I was a student athletic trainer during this time and worked with football for one year and a few fall camps. Even went to a couple of parties at his place. He was a very nice, intelligent guy who I knew would go places!!

GO SEAN AND THE SAINTS!!
