I'm not a dude... But thank u! Yes, excited! Because I have started the process, because my application was accepted... I hear a lot things can go wrong even at this early stage...getting the package returned because of the wrong amount in the money order, sent it to the wrong address, application not singed etc!! So yes I'm happy ?

Don't really worry about what other people say , cuz everyone is different and everyone have different process , i heard a lot that i'm gonna get my NOA2 in 8-14 months and i received it withing 4 months so you should be positive keep up your hope like your doing now , and you'l hear what's good (God willing) ; best luck for you both and have a good day

NOA1 via. txt received 05/20/14

Email for NOA1 received 05/20/14 with CSC designation.

05/21/14 Alien registration number changed.

Lets see how this goes for my petition.

I see you were never responded to. First, congrats. Second, expect a 2-4 week processing time if you are in fact transferred to CSC.

It does get worse. But it should plateau. Like I check my status on USCIS.gov once per day but I don't expect to see any changes. I don't obsess over the process. I keep myself very busy going to gym 3-5 times per week & playing video games. This allows time to fly without me paying attention to it. My Fiancee in Germany also keeps herself super busy. My trip to Germany in July also is a good diversion for us both.

My recommendation to everyone at TSC is not to be patient, because that's what everyone on here says & I don't think you can just learn to be patient. But you can learn not to obsess over the process & keep yourself busy. Tie up loose ends in your life, especially financial ones. Both the USC & beneficiary should save money. It's money you can no doubt use when you're finally united.

So happy to receive my first NOA within a week!! I sent my package on Thursday of last week and today received the notice! It feels great to be moving right along!!

Stay Happy and focused on your goals. I know this is a long process for some but each case is treated differently. Keep looking at the positive things. No RFE - good thing! Longer than expected - more time to concentrate on the next steps and learn more about the entire process! Stay calm and just continue to love each other. Each day passing will bring you closer together and the day when the approval comes.

I wondered my case to go to VSC but it went to California. I have not yet received the paper NOA1 but I am not worried as I have email and text message confirmation.

I took great care to prepare my application so as to wow the openner of the application from prespective of organization. I believed if you care about their time, they return the favor in the like manner, perhaphs.

A well prepared and accurate package certainly helps, but the Service center will make most the difference at this point. You were appropriately routed (not transferred) to the CSC as you live in Illinois. It is, based on my best estimate from the research I have been doing, regional dependent. All petitions I have seen from Illinois were routed to CSC. The VSC has not received any new petitions since July/August of last year and is completing what few they have left over.

Even though I hesitate to say "expect", you can probably count on NOA2 anywhere from 2 - 6 weeks from CSC. If the background checks go smooth and there are no red flags and the beneficiary is not from a high fraud country or one with high levels of terrorist activity (on the US terrorist watch list), you should be fine.
