My husband's twin brother was just diagnosed with testicular cancer. Please pray for him.

He is scheduled for surgery next week. And then several rounds of chemo will soon follow.

My husband is so incredibly sad. We are desperately searching for a means to purchase a plane ticket so that he can be with his brother.

Until then, we need your prayers

So sorry to hear this TracyLuis. Cancer is such a hard thing to deal with (been there with momma) and I'm glad he has your husband for support. If you or your husband need a good support group, PM me and I'll send you the link. My husband and I are active members of that group and it's a very friendly and supportive group.

All the members of this family will pray for your brother-in-law. If it is any comfort, a friend of mine was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the ripe old age of 22. He had the tumour removed, along with the testicle, and they put in a prosthetic one. He had chemo for some time afterwards, which wasn't so pleasant for him - he got really sick at this point.

But........three years later his wife told him that he was to be a Daddy! Two years later they had their second child and then called it a day!

They are very happy that he was diagnosed early and that he had been sensible enough to check himself for any changes in that area.

There's a lesson to be learned here for all you guys out there!

I had a work colleague who went through the same about 20 years ago and he came through fine Also, there are a few famous celebrities who have come through, one being Bob Champion, a jockey and from Yorkshire, England (as I am). A movie was made about his successful fight. Here's his website :

My cousin's husband was also diagnosed with testicular cancer, it was removed, they did chemo, and now he's fine. Before the whole ordeal they collected semen 'cus they don't have kids and the chemo could make him steryl.
