your uncle knows the K-1 visa process very well

and

you not have a K-1 visa

so

how will you reconcile your Uncle's pushing of the wrong process

with

your visa type ?

what do you mean for a CR-1 visa - filing something within 90 days is not done.?

I am using a macbook, this is the only computer, can i do it on my samsung note 3? i really want to pay asap.

I am telling you 'gospel'

and you are asking me to re-interprete, re-formulate, my answers to you.

Why?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Your uncle is dead wrong. You're hearing this from people who have helped and watched hundreds of spouse visa cases be completed to green card. Pay the fee and you'll get the green card. You will NEVER file any I-485 for a CR1 or IR1 visa case, because you already HAVE the status one gets with an approved I-485 WITHOUT ever filing one.

You don't need that stuff, really.

Correct. No need for any papers that were in your visa package. USCIS has the package. Expect your green card within 30 to 45 days, no matter what they told you. Remember, you'll need to "remove conditions" filing more papers 21 months after the date you entered the USA.

You were married less than two years on your entry date. Is that correct?

$165 paid already. Nope, i have been married since 12-10-11 more than 2 years when i entered last march 14, 2014. Why is my SSN and status pending? That's what it says on the background check that the employer made and on www.socialsecurity.gov it says put in the right info.. weird!!!! I'm here at the SS office now to figure this out. Maybe its that piece of paper the i.o told me to do before i left? The paper i received from him which i lost was not a paper from USCIS but a paper from the bureau of immigration and border patrol if i'm not mistaken.

Check with Social Security Office about that, but your residency status might be showing as pending because you hadn't paid the fee yet. When you get your green card in a month or so, that should all be cleared up.

This isn't something you need. Be patient about the SSN number especially if you just paid the $165. You do not need a social security number to start working, only proof that you have applied for one and the CR/IR-1 visa with endorsement in your passport, if that is your concern.

What that is technically correct with respect to the law, as far as I know, in practical terms, what is "needed" to start a job in the USA is whatever the employer requires. They are free to require more than the law requires. If they are going with the results of a background check, they will go with it.
