Hello everyone,

We finally receiced our NOA2 approval. I opened my email at 12:30pm and saw 10 emails. Then I called my beautiful Marie and let her know the good news, even though it is 2:30am there. I just could wait. For everyone still waiting, good luck and be patient.

Maybe this is a silly question, but won't the interviewing officer be suspicious when they see that the engagement came before the first meeting in person? Is that ok? Is it allowed?

I believe it's fine. Beside, they did meet in person afterward and THEN had a formal engagement party. So they have met in person, and they didn't change their mind about getting married, so I don't see any problem.

The initial engagement the we did over the web cam was not an official engagement. It was an understanding between Marie and myself that we have found the person that we are both looking for. I was inlove with Marie from the very first letter that we exchanged. I knew she would be the woman that I would marry and spend my life with. By the way, I really don't think they care about an online engagement, what they care about is that we met in person and that we have an ongoing relationship.

Thank you for your support of happiness for us, we really appreciate that.
