Congratulations on your NOA2! Most people leave it a few weeks before they begin hounding the NVC for their case number.

Thank you! :) We just received NOA2 in mail today. Yeah, we'll wait for the package to be sent to NVC first. Thanks for the info. I hope and pray that you get your NOA2 soon. Take care!

Is there anybody who got assigned to Vermont Service Center? I feel lonely!

Mccartna, did you file from abroad?

What are the requirements for filing from abroad and how do you do it?

My husband, USC, is temporary here with me in Italy but we didn't file from abroad... I'm starting thinking I filed wrong..:

I am a vermont filer as well NOA1 may 28th. Lets hope they are moving faster then usual.

Hey there! Just wanted to introduce myself and say "hi" to all of you May filers! :-) My husband is from Rwanda but has been living in Kenya for 5 years, and I am from California. We have been happily married since December 16, 2013, after meeting while on my first missions trip in 2011 and falling in love on my second trip in 2012. I filed our I-130 May 6, 2014 and received our NOA1 May 11. Our petition was sent to Nebraska Service Center. Praying for a speedy, smooth process for all of you... I know how hard it is to be so far from the ones we love, but before we know it we will be reunited and together with them forever! Best of luck, stay strong, and God bless!!

Lots of love,

Jenah (Emanuel's wife)

@KrishMT - The nice thing about my timing for you, is that you are just about a week or toe behind me, but keeping up. That tells me they must be fast tracking philippines paper work faster then others. It's one reason I am trying so hard to keep my time line updated since people who are from philippines will be saying we are also right on for how much time we are spending at these places. It's always nice getting things so locked in that the waiting is what makes us want to down red bull and rock star drinks just to be awake when the notice comes in!!

Keep the fair people, we all make it, and having each other rooting for the new beginnings is such a comfort!

Yeah, seems like they are really speeding up petitions for the Philippines. Well I am hoping and praying that all filers also get approved soon. The hubby will start calling NVC soon to check if they already have our package. Goodluck on your NVC journey. God bless. :)

Hi! I am a us citizen and my husband is australian. We have been together since 2006 and married since January 2012. We live abroad in Australia but want to go to the USA.

I posted our petition I-130 at the end of May and we received the letter in the mail that they had it on June 20. I checked the case status and it's been approved! Now were waiting to see what the next steps are.

We don't want to enter usa until January as hubby wants one last Christmas here.

Congrats! Looks like we're in the same boat. Just curious, do you forsee any issue in that you are intentionally delaying the process after your I-130 has been approved?

I hope there are no issues from waiting. We won't delay the process and will try and get all we need to get done before the end of the year. Our goal is to be on an airplane to the usa around the first week in January :)
