Hey cscrum,

I did something similar with my AOS and it was fine. They reviewed my second package first, though and I got a checklist that said the documents from my first AOS package was missing, but the next day they reviewed the first package and they said to ignore the checklist. AOS accepted :-)

Sorry, me again!

Did you send JUST the missing documents or a whole new AOS?

Thanks!

No worries! I sent the AOS barcode sheet from the original package, a cover sheet that I made saying what documents were included and that they were corrected because I made a mistake, and the corrected documents with supporting evidence. In this case it was the I-864 for my joint sponsor that hade the error, so I sent the corrected form with the tax transcripts for 2013, 2012, and 2011 and another copy of his birth certificate. I did not send my I-864 again, my tax transcripts, or my supporting documents for domicile and that is what my AOS checklist was for BUT the checklist was resolved the next day. :) Hope that makes sense! :)

Hi everyone!

I am new and I filed a petition for my spouse as well. I am a little confused with the process, I already paid the AOS fee and it shows as completed. Do I now need to send the all documents to the NVC? My hubby just sent it to me yesterday so it should be arriving today or tomorrow the latest. Once I send the documents is this when I will receive an invoice to pay the visa fee? I feel like I am ALMOST THERE and is very exciting. Also one last question, I did the DS-261 as well and I got the confirmation number, when will I be able to do the DS-260 or DS-230 and do I send the visa application and the forms with all the documents too? Or those are done online?

Not sure where you read that, but that's wrong  Please read post 1, pay particular attention to the NVC process wiki I wrote, linked both in post 1 as well as in my signature (and of course can always be found listed under the wiki tab).
