Congrats! When did NVC receive/scan in the last package that you sent to them? Just wondering to see if it is anywhere around the time they received my last

package. Hoping for a CC this week.

Last package (IV) mailed on May 1, Recd on May 2 and scanned into system on May 5. Our timelines are almost exactly the same.

Wow! I just went back and looked at the cover sheet for my Checklist and you are right! It says to allow 20 business days after they receive it to review what you have sent. So the whole 30 day ####### they have been telling me is incorrect. They send something in writing stating it is 20 BUSINESS DAYS!!!

Thank you! Either way, I have decided that I need to see my husband by the first week of July. At this point, who care if I have to pay an arm and a leg to fly there. But $1700 hurts oh so much!

Hi everyone, just a quick question: I don't have a printer at my current apartment, but I'd rather make the AOS payment from the comfort of my own home and not at an internet café (I don't make a habit of entering bank info on public computers). Is the bar-coded cover sheet from the payment portal able to be saved as a PDF or by other means, maybe a screen shot? I'm hoping I can e-mail it to myself and then go to the internet café to print it out.

You can just log into the payment portal and print it out from there. It's not just a one-time thing right after you pay. The bar-coded cover sheet will always be available on the payment portal. So, just pay the bill at home, then you can log into the payment portal elsewhere to print the bar-coded cover sheet.

You can email it too if you wish.

Folks, about the 20 business days on NVC correspondence vs the 30 days when calling:

Remember, NVC doesn't update their correspondence right away when things change (it typically takes them months and months). So, that 20 business day time frame was from a few months ago before they got backlogged. That's when they bumped it up to 30 business days. So, the time frames you're hearing from operators are true.

I called this morning after reading your post.. Was told my file is definitely with someone. I asked if it is just received in the system or if its actually with someone. She said its with someone and under review . She told me to call back tomorrow and apologized for not having an update !! Nice but I really want that CC.

maybe they will get through the 5th and 6th today and 7th and 8th tomorrow ( wishful thinking?)
