How to mail I-1129F

Well, I have now put my application package together! Yeah, me!

The Visajourney guide recommends USPS with return receipt.

Do you still recommend this method?

Please advise me.

I just mailed ours off in a flat-rate priority envelope with delivery confirmation. Worked just fine. If you include the G-1145, then the USCIS will also e-notify you when they receive your petition.

Yes, USPS with return receipt is used by most mostly because of its less expensive cost. However, if you have the honey money by all means send it Express mail, or next day service. But, as the above poster stated please include the completed G-1145 form so you will be notified by the USCIS when your package has been received by the USCIS.

Agreed! That is what we have done for all of our petition/applications sent to USCIS.

I mailed mine off in my own envelope and sent it certified mail as well as delivery confirmation/signature return receipt with no problems.

USPS Priority Mail is what I used.

I used USPS express mail with signature confirmation. I mailed it on April 3, it arrived on April 4 at the Texas lockbox.

I used USPS Express Mail, as well. Arrived by noon the day after I mailed it. Got signature confirmation & tracking. But, I paid $19.99 for that. We had to wait to send it off until I got his forms, so I didn't want to waste anymore time. So I paid more to get it there quicker. If you don't mind a few extra days, don't spend the extra! I would think the most important part is tracking and delivery confirmation. As the mail man told me, with sensitive materials like this, you definitely want to be able to see where it is and when. And to make sure someone signs for it so it isn't just lying somewhere. Makes sense to me! (:

I used FedEx and it got there in 2 days, but that probably was overkill.

BTW, I included a G-1145 but never got email/text from them. Got NOA1 in mail eventually though. Some other posters said they had the same issue with G-1145.

I would use an express service if you have the money for it. I made the mistake of just using first class certified mail aaaaaaaand.... it took like 10 days to get there from NY. Impatient me was not too excited about that Lesson learned for AOS!
