Hello all,

I sent our package on March 27th, 2014, but received my NOA1 on April 2, hence I am an April Filer.

Wanted to start this new topic for TSC Filers, since it seems that CSC filers are getting quicker approvals, and TSC filers are waiting longer times (Except for a few REALLY lucky ones). Let's help each other cope with the anxiety and the nerves of the wait. I for one, come into VJ at least 5 times a day. I know that doesn't make anything go faster, but it keeps me motivated seeing others get approved daily.

If you want to feel free to share your story here, so that we can at least enjoy some nice reading while we wait. (Mine will come soon!) ;)

Good luck to all, and hope we all get approval soon (Praying for May or June!) :)

Hi guys and welcome to theTSC :dancing:

I am a late January filer still waiting for our NOA2, this is day 70 for us :clock: It seems like they are finally getting to the January petitions. One of my VJ friends is at day 100, but we are expecting to see her NOA2 anytime now.

The wait is not easy, I have cried out of frustration at times, but then I remember how blessed I am to be engaged to my love (L) .

These are the things I have been working on to get the feeling that I am getting closer to being married to him:

* Got my vaccinations (This is not a requirement to get the visa, but I will need it down the road for AOS)

* Printed out a bunch of pics of us together and wrote location and date on the back to take to the interview

* Started keeping plane tickets of travelling together, tolls receipts, etc and organizing them.

* Started counseling with the church staff so that is taken care of and we can get married

* Started reading a book together

* Learning to cook better to be able to feed my handsome guy when we get married

Please feel free to share what you are doing while waiting

Sorry for crashing this forum, I will let you know as soon as we get our NOA2, and hopefully it will give you an estimate.

Good luck everyone! :goofy:

Philippians 4: 6-7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We are on day 43, but it feels like forever already.

We are starting to gather the documents for the interview and he's in the process of getting his police certificates from all the states he's lived in. 1 down, 2 to go and then on to Federal.

I've found that it's really difficult to make wedding plans when we have no clue when the wedding will be. Right now, it's slated for November 22, but who knows. Could be sooner, could be later. I'm just trying to do little things here and there to keep the excitement up.

While we're waiting, we are trying to help our relationship to get even stronger. We are both religious, so every morning and every night we pray together and every night we read scripture together. It has really helped us grow together, even if only over Skype.

The wait is sooo painful. I just want to be reunited with my honey. Being away from him feels like being separated from part of my body. I'm incomplete!

We pray that our NOA2 comes quickly and the interview will go well. Fingers crossed!!

Good luck to everybody else going through the same thing! :luv:

Hello Everyone! My NOA1/on April 28th at California Service Center. I got a text/email that USICS sent my first RFE on 5/19. I've been stalking the mail person looking for a letter since then, so far nothing yet. I'm sure I'll get it tomorrow. I keep wondering what else did I forget? I sent in every boarding passes(I visited him twice),itineraries, hotels, restaurants, toll fees, car rentals, every single receipt that I ever got there while I was visiting him. Pictures of us together and with family members. Chats...over 400 pages! That was before we heard that we didn't have to send that many pages. Now I have to wait to see what else they want from me? We even have a lawyer helping us! I wished we would have known how great this website was before signing on with a lawyer since our case is just a straight case.

Like everyone else I'm here reading to learn more about the process and trying to avoid any pitfalls to delay the process. And of course checking on my case once a day and trying to stay sane! Yeah I know..just breathe!

I'm so glad many of you are with me traveling this road...no one really gets how hard or stressful this is...or how wonderful it is to have found a love from across the globe. Even if it takes a year which I hope it won't be...I'm so glad that my love and I found each other. He is definitely worth waiting for!

Hello everyone! We sent ours off on April 23rd & got NOA1 on the 29th. I think this is my third April thread to be commenting on. I just liked to have as much encouragement and support as possible because this is HARD! And I only follow TSC-only threads now. No more seeing CSC approvals. They're heartbreaking.

The wedding thing is sooo difficult! We planned to get married on March 7, 2015. That's just slightly less than a year so hopefully that timeframe is okay. But, we're getting married in Hawaii. We started planning the traditional, big wedding but it got to be way too much stress. I work full time & go to college full time. None of my matrons of honor (two) or bridesmaids (four) had the time to help with anything. So I said forget it & we're running off to Hawaii for a beach wedding! I just had my wedding dress appointment where my closest family & friends got to come watch me try on dresses and help me pick. The difficult part is that we can only put deposits down on things for now because we aren't sure the date is for sure. Then add in all the family & friends (a surprisingly large number) who have said they're going & trying to figure out travel plans without being able to book anything..geez! But I refuse to compromise that much because of this situation. My fiancé and I love each other very much & deserve the same wedding we would have if we weren't thousands of miles apart.

Okay...so sorry for rambling! But you're the first person to mention wedding plans. Surprisingly, no one really talks about weddings on here & I'm just really excited & really frustrated about mine (:

I completely understand!!! I think what we are going to do is get married immediately after Eduardo gets into the US, and then a month or so later, have the wedding/reception that we wanted to have in the first place. That gives us a little more flexibility, in our opinion. BUT... if we had our NOA2, we could start to make more solid plans!! ARGH!

Hey that's not a bad idea..though by the time we get our NOA2 and the interview date, I think we could start making things permanent not too long after. If we get approved before December, he isn't coming until December anyway. I'm going to visit for New Years to meet his dad & stepmom, so we agreed he would wait & leave with me then. I just hate the "if this happens then we can do this then" and blah blah blah. Everything is so darn conditional!

I spent Christmas and New Year's in Brazil with his family. That's when we got engaged... at sunrise... on the beach... it was A.MA.ZING! But super hot, cause it was summer down there. :)

I just keep checking and praying every day for the NOA2, cause that will really determine when and what our plans will be. Fingers crossed for all of us to get speedy approvals!

Hi everyone! I am the beneficiary. My Fiancé and I are filing at Texas service center as well. Our NOA1 date is April 30th.

We thought about getting married as soon as I arrive in the US with my visa. Then we want to make a religious ceremony and the reception with all our family from the US and France around May or June 2015. That would let us time to plan everything, and my family would have time to plan coming to the US (bying plane to tickets, ask for vacation days...etc).

I agree that planning a wedding when you're not sure about how fast things are going to go is very hard. And it is even harder to plan a wedding from another country!

I am glad to see I am not the only one to worry about how our wedding is going to be plan!
