Sorry the woman died, but what's the big deal. I was listening to the radio this morning while getting ready for work and they had a CBS special report on her death like she was some head of state.

Well.. she was a real class act. A woman who gave up everything to take care of her paralyzed husband.

Yes, it is so sad. She was very well liked and gave her life to care for her husband the past ten years from his tragic accident and then death. May she RIP.

I just heard about her dying-I think it is such a shame. After everything she went through with her husband-then to be diagnosed with lung cancer at such a young age. Last time I saw her on the news I thought she looked great-what a horrible disease. I lost quite a few family members to cancer last year

That is so very sad, especially for her son having lost both parents at such a young age and on such a public stage. May he gain strength in knowing he had two very determined and amazing parents!

That is really scary. My father smoked my whole life...and I lived with a man for a year who smoked as well.

I smoked in grad school for about a year....

Between my smoking and those around me who smoke...it's scary stuff. I am so sad for their children.

She is so young and had so much life ahead of her.

I feel bad for the son loosing both his parents.

Only positive thing is that she is with her husband again
