Oh, well I see now. Robor007. If you served then I respect your opinon. Unfortunatly you're in the minority........You're not going to find many liberals in the U.S. Military- but of course there are gays and others that subscribe to such deviant beliefs.....

It was another great liberal Democratic Presdent (Clinton, of course) that ensured their minority right (questionable)....please recall the "don't tell don't ask" policy....

So, I concede that there may be one or two of you liberals that have served but you are absolutely the minority of those that have served this country.....

In response to your previous post, I thought about joining coming out of high school but none of my friends were going that direction and my family was all local so I went to school/worked. In hindsight I think I would've liked to have served but you can't rewind. That's hindsight though, whether I served or not really isn't the issue. My point in this reply is...

You should have served in my opinion. Those that serve attain a knowledge of the world, and a perspective that's clear and concise.

Those that do not oftentimes rely on others to fill the void; unfortunately a very hostile and liberal news media...

It's too bad.

BTW, beyond the fact that O'Reilly is the most watched news program in the U.S., Mr. O'Reilly now is leaning towards an IRAQ pullout....

Ifyou don't watch his program how can you comment intellegently on its content?

You insisted on rubbishing a single CNN news report because it contained film footage that you considered abhorrent. You then insisted on rubbishing that report (using a completely different piece of journalism - a tertiary source at best), the journalist and the journalistic standards of the CNN network. You were (are) so wound up in your own righteous indignation that you couldn't (can't) view things with even a measure of objectivity.

Ever worked as a journalist? I have... So I have some "perspective and practical knowledge" about assessing journalistic quality. I believe I offered that too you at the time...

I always find it funny when people are so anti-Fox news. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that you want them to stop being more on the conservative side? You will trust one media person over another, if they agree with your opinions? And it is kind of funny that O'Reilly is the most watched news program at 8pm, yet he is supposedly crazy too. I see him from time to time and he does get a bit hyper or out there sometimes.

But some of his opinions are not even right wing. He has no problem criticizing Bush when he feels the need. I may not like everything he says, but I like that he doesn't care how much ####### gets talked about him. Doesn't seem to be hurting his ratings. Go figure.
