I just thought this was very poetic and exactly how most troops feel. Some might talk to him of course, but they aren't gonna go out of their way to do it or stand in a line like they did for O'Reilly.

I'm just a dumb (former)troop though. I can hardly understand some of your posts becoz you use such BIG words!!! LOL You must be edumacatedd! I'm just to dumb to avoid serving my country though. Damm You'all keep your thesaurus's handy right next to your computer to impress us though!!

How/Why is John Kerry still news? He 'lost' the presidential election over 2 years ago and like a dead horse he is still getting beaten. I guess we should blame reality. It's easier to beat on Kerry over a stupid joke than discuss the joke sitting in the white house. Speaking of him, is he still on vacation (again)?

Bill O'NotReally...? I don't watch his TV'd 'opinions' show but I've caught it a few times in channel surfing. He's a right wing honk. He and Rush are fine examples of right wing media. Since Bill's so much more popular and intelligent than Kerry ask him this... Why did Bush invade Iraq again? Where are the WMD's? Where's Osama? Where's the Iraqi's greeting the US as liberators? How's democracy going in Iraq? Mission Accomplished! Stay the course! What civil war?

Oh, well I see now. Robor007. If you served then I respect your opinon. Unfortunatly you're in the minority........You're not going to find many liberals in the U.S. Military- but of course there are gays and others that subscribe to such deviant beliefs.....

It was another great liberal Democratic Presdent (Clinton, of course) that ensured their minority right (questionable)....please recall the "don't tell don't ask" policy....

So, I concede that there may be one or two of you liberals that have served but you are absolutely the minority of those that have served this country.....

Liberals- it's time to circle the wagons...

I'll be glad to clarify... My post was not directed at you or the US military. It was directed at the right wing media like Faux News and and O'NotReally included with their biased and selected coverage of events such as this. I don't watch Faux News or O'NotReally so I don't know if they covered this 'story' but I'll guarantee the would if they had it.

Most of the US feels invading Iraq was a mistake. We (and I say us as a nation, not me as a member of the military) went in under incorrect/shaky info and it's gone from bad to worse, hence the 11/06 election results. To try and shift attention to Kerry right now is a joke even worse than the one he tried to pull off.

I'll close in saying I am thankful for and proud of you and every other soldier past and present protecting our rights as US citizens - even if our opinions differ at times.
