as a native northern californian, i root for both the A's and the Giants. with a preference to the A's. I loved watching A's when rollie fingers, vida blue, reggie jackson, etc.. as a kid.

we live 90 miles away so it isn't easy to go to the games. I quench my baseball thirst by going to the locall AAA ball, Sacramento Rivercats. it is,somewhat, cheap fun.

daniel-san.,... i had a pitcher as a client, who pitched for theA's....not a star at all ..but he has a colorful story of one of the stars.....they were indeed a frisky bunch

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I like going to Giants games too, but the tickets are too much and Pac Bell (SBC whatever) is a bit of a pain to get to in comparison to the Colliseum. I have a really nice action photo I took of Barry Bonds hitting one of his big homers.

The Rivercats are fun too...I actually really like minor league ballgames - I've seen the Fresno grizzles, Norfolk Tides, Durham Bulls and a bunch of other ones. The first two have really nice parks. The tickets are cheap and they are fun to watch too.

eeeewwwww

I have heard some interesting stories about ballplayers, but mostly about them clearly having a lot of fun (and getting lots of laundry done) never about it getting as painful as that!

Sure you won't share the name of said famous ballplayer?
