Hey all, with spring training starting, I wanted to start a thread about the MLB. How many baseball fans do we have on here and who are you all rooting for?

11-15-2005: Sent in I-129F to VSC

11-21-2005: NOA1

11-29-2005: NOA2

12-05-2005: NVC recieved

12-17-2005: Packet 3 received from Dublin

1-11-2006: Sent packet 3 forms, etc. to Dublin

2-03-2006: Interview Date :)APPROVED!!!

2-05-2006: Flying to Logan Airport

2-11-2006: Wedding Date

3-14-2006: Filed AOS and EAD

3-22-2006: NOA1 (AOS and EAD)

4-07-2006: Biometrics

6-07-2006: EAD approved!!

7-24-2006: AOS Interview APPROVED!!!

7-27-2006: Received Welcome to America letter

8-03-2006: Green Card Received :)

I am a baseball fan. I cheer for the Cubs but I suppose I will have to change to the Braves now.

BTW - Very very very bummed about today's news :crying:

I love the Cubbies too, but I suppose the Braves would be more convienent for you now!

What news?? I've been on a plane or in the airport all day, haven't seen anything too interesting....

12/9/05 Check cashed (Never been so happy to have money leave my account)

12/12/05 Receive NOA1 snail mail - 30-60 day processing estimate

01/04/06 Receive NOA2 via e-mail

1/20/06 NVC letter in mail...will ship within a week.

2/1/06 Packet 3 and 4 in the mail

3/15/06 Interview - neither approved nor declined need to send in Migratory Movement Certificate AP

3/20/06 Migratory Movement Certificate for myself and fiancee sent to US Embassy in Lima

3/23/06 Visa Approved

5/19/06 I leave for Peru to pick up mi amor

5/25/06 Lucia and I arrive in Chicago

7/01/06 Legal Marriage

Kirby Puckett passed away today. He had a stroke on the weekend. Don't know too many details.

I was never a Twins fan but me and my dad were always Kirby fans. He was classy.

Oh that is sad news... :crying: I agree, he was a classy guy and the Twins were always one of the teams I'd root for (when they weren't playing my Sox that is)

hubby is a big fan but me not so much... I did go to a couple of games with him last year... I much prefer the night games... we boiled in our seats at the afternoon games...

hubby's team is the LA Dodgers :thumbs:

YES! a fellow Yankee-hater!

Ironically, the beginning of this post is actually the evil empire's tv network...

I absolutely despise the Yankees. I don't mind the BoSox at all, and was very happy for them when they won the WS. I thought the comeback against the Yankees was the greatest thing in sports history.
