alhamdolillah my visa status shows issued today...submitted documents asked by co two weeks before...thanks for all the help guys and please stop spreading rumours about isl embassy being most toughest, if the case is fine and they dont see any problem they dont give you hard time ...thank you all wish you all the best...........

Congratulations on getting your visa but you are wrong Islamabad embassy is the worse embassy in the world. People that interviewed in 2013 are getting their visas while people that interviewed before 2013 are still waiting. There doesn't have to be a problem with the case for them to put people in AP for years. Just be thankful you were one of the lucky ones to get a visa a don't belittle the suffering the rest of us are going through with that embassy.

But what do you mean Islamabad ain't the toughest embassy??? Are you kidding or you REALLY mean that? Or maybe that was a line just outta happiness

My case is one of the most straight ones, I'm not even Pakistani BUT I'm stuck in AP for the past 6 months JUST because I live in Pakistan! If I was living in Emirates or even Turkey I wouldn't be put in AP

It's not a baseless rumor it's hard fact and the US embassy has all the right to be dubious about people flying out from Pakistan

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

lucky you my fiance is waiting since a year now!!! we are waiting for his interview date!! i recently had an inquiry done with isl embassy. they replied saying they never recieved our documents even though earlier they said they have recieved everything!

Islamabad embassy is toughest they put people on AP for no reason and they are even soooo bad answering the phone one person will answer he will transfer you to someone else and then you just keep hearing rings
